HTH Pool Care Clear Defense — Liquid, 28 fl oz — Pool Algaecide for Water Treatment

Added this product to the skimmer as directed along with my normal chemicals that go directly into the pool. wMy water went from very green to clear in less than two hours. That was a better result than the comparable chemical from the pool store at a much higher price. I'm sold.

This is the best algae killer. I've used on the pool. You can swim immediately after using it. It cleared up my pool in approximately three hours. My water was crystal clear and we were swimming immediately after using it about two more bottles to keep on hand for just in case this is a must have in your pool house.

Perfectly for weekly use to keep the algae from having a chance to think of starting. I have not used it during an active bloom- but because I use this I haven't had an algae bloom this season - at least not yet

This is the second year we've bought this product and we feel the price is worth it because we struggled for years to find something that would get rid of the algae and keep it away and this has kept the water clear all season long!

This stuff is amazing.. our water gets cloudy with all the lotions and oils for the sun tanning and this stuff clears it up and makes it clear in no time.

This algaecide works quickly and efficiently. If your water is looking green, this product will bring it black to blue.

I'm new to cleaning filters. (I'm an old pro at backwashing a sand filter.) This cleaner has made the process much easier and the filters much cleaner. I would recommend it to a friend.

I'm not confident about any pool chemicals but we've been using this after finally getting through an algae attack with no problems!

This item is easy to use and it works well. I still find it easier to just shock the pool at the end of the day but this product certainly helps the water overall.

Done nothing. My pool chemistry is perfect. I always score 75 present at Leslie's at least. Why 75 % because phosphates are an issue. So I decided to try this product cuz it was cheaper. Well, I see why it's cheaper. The entire bottles of it done literally nothing! My phosphates were 275 and when I went back a week after and entire bottle!!! Phosphates were at 875!!!!! Not only it didn't get it even a little down, phosphates went up!!! Waste of time and money.
