These granules are super easy to use, they kill the bacteria and algae spores leaving the water crystal clear, the water also feels softer and fresher. I also use the HTH test strips, the ones where you can test, text and the app. tells you the results of the test and what's needed to be done to balance the chemicals in the pool....... big help.
