hth Ultimate shock treatment, 1 lb

It is so good! It cleans the water and brings it back to a crystal clear and perfect to have a clean pool.

Started with cloudy green pool. Followed directions exactly, running sand filter 24/7 and backwashed daily. By third day, turned green to white cloudy. Had to buy hth Clarifier to turn the cloudy to sparkling clear. Used together, my pool went from gross to beautiful. It is now crystal clear. Looks like I just opened the pool.

Liked how it worked. A little high in price.

Cleared my green pool within hours. I used this for a 10ft diameter, 1000 gallon, pool that has a small intex H cartridge filter. Before using the shock it had been cloudy for one then green for 3 days after. I Only used 1/3 of the shock packet and it stared clearing within a few hours, and I continued to run the filter for 24 hours. It was green back to crystal clear within the 24 hours as advertised. Since I have a plastic vinyl (above ground) pool I had to dissolve the Shock in a bucket of water first. Some particles stuck to the bottom of the bucket, so I scraped them into the pool and stirred the water. Some particles were still visible in the water for the first few hours.

They work so well. I use them with the ultimate shock weekly and never need to do anything more. Pool stays crystal clear and its not irritating to eyes and skin.
