Very shocked on how beautiful this bike is in person. Looks exactly like the picture. -Had few tiny tiny nicks on handle bar hardly noticable with this paint job, seriously 99% perfected. this is a good kid bike for 8/9/10 year old girls.
Beautiful bicycle, bright purple color, perfect size with adjustable seat height for my Precious little Princess 5th birthday. She was so excited to get her new bike. Unfortunately, it came with a hole in the rear tire and the rear brake cable was broken. My poor baby girl was SO disappointed that she was not able to try out her new bike in front of all her family and friends at her birthday party this past Saturday. My son went to Walmart very early the next morning and purchased a new inner tube and brake cable to repair the bike before she even woke up. He told her "Nonny called the birthday fairy and told her to get there and fix Vera's bike ASAP!" My precious little princess couldn't wait for Daddy to send me the videos and pictures of her riding her first big girl bike this morning. Next, my son contacted Huffy and explained to them what had happened. No questions asked, they immediately agreed to send him the appropriate replacement parts needed to keep on hand. Normally I would have given this transaction a perfect score. Yet I felt it would only be fair to take a few stars away since my son had to go through so much trouble to make things right for his baby girl. I'm just so proud of the young man I raised by myself all those years. If anyone deserves 1000 stars, it's my son!
Beautiful bike - we bought it for our 7 year old. Its gorgeous and holding up so far (her first bike without training wheels). The break cable snapped about a week in though, so we are waiting for a replacement part through the warranty. Otherwise, good value.
The bike is really pretty for a 7 yr old. However, the bike arrived without pedals, a 1/4” tear in the seat and frayed rear brake line. I called Huffy and replacement parts came within a week without a hassle. If you're thinking ordering for Christmas, give yourself an extra to weeks to fix any issues.
I get that this was a $100 kids bike, but Huffy needs do a better job. As other reviewer's have mentioned, the forks on this bike would not fit the front tire, they were bent in and the part where the tire bolts are held were welded crooked. I had to wedge a spacer in to bend the forks out to get the tire on and because of the bad welds the tire sits slightly off-set from the bikes frame. The bike looks good, my daughter likes it and it will probably be fine for the few years she rides it. But the build quality is horrible, besides the forks the bike is overall very cheaply made. I would think twice before buying this bike or any Huffy product.
Nice looking bike. But as other mentioned the front fork was too thin for the tire to fit in. I was in rare form after getting 2 broken bikes and strong armed it with a vice, hopefully no unexpected effects from that. Also clicks when pedaling. Pretty upset.
The bike, of course, came unassembled as I knew it would because I purchased online. Unboxed, I can see torn material on the seat, scratches on the wheels and the back tire tube was blown and the tire stretched from being overinflated for who knows how long. Huffy is now made in China. The entire bike reeks of cheap construction. Doubt that it will last long.
You have to built the bike from scratch. Putting the brakes is a hassle. The wires got messed up within a few days. I have to figure out how to fix the brakes again now. You definitely get what you pay for. The color of the bike is beautiful, I give it that.
Thanks for selling me a bike that's broken Huffy. Santa's gift to my daughter has a nut/threads on the rear tire that is stripped/doesn't tighten. Daughter went to ride the bike for the first time and chain came off, this led to me discovering that it was assembled and shipped this way. The rear tire and chain aren't secure. I tried tightening the nut and it just spins. This PART OF THE BIKE IS PREASSEMBLED AND SHIPPED, so no user/builder error as it comes put together in the box. Pretty crappy event for her Christmas.
She loves the bike. Good quality. I went with Huffy thinking good things but it didn't even come with the pedals or pegs. How can a bike company around the time people start putting things on layaway mess up like that. I'm not happy at all, she is though. Guess that's all that matters. Oh I went to Walmart and told them what happened and they told me to pound sand. Go figure.
