At $89.00 I thought there had to be a catch, but there just isn't. Huffy delivered. It's a basic cruiser bike. No bells and whistles. I rides smooth just as it should. It's good looking too. I get a lot of compliments. I'm a 44 year old man and I chose a woman's bike style because it is just simply easier to get on and off of it. I don't have to hike my leg "Rockettes style" over the seat. I can just slide right in from the side. Honestly, nobody really notices or cares anyway. I'm very happy. I plan to put an electric motor on it. I'll post a picture when I'm done.
Nice, simple bike. Just what I was looking for - no hand brakes due to an injured wrist. It's cute and fun and perfect for me. I prepaid for the assembly and the handyman was very nice and professional. I am very pleased overall with my experience.
Great bike. Perfect for taking me and the puppers on a ride. It took me about an hour to put together and Im no expect. Instructions were good w pictures. Ive had to make a few adjustments after my first ride but very satisfied. Recommended
Great price, great look, hard as heck to put together. No one has a wrench large enough for the main bolt that holds the handle bars and no matter how tight I make everything, the handle bars keep slipping when I put pressure on them. The seat bar went in too far and it was a nightmare to get out. If I could get a professional to put it together it would be great, but I'm good at building kits and this one was difficult when it didn't need to be.
For it's price it's great! The only things I would say are a bit iffy would be how the bolts amd screws came loose with force. My handle bar was moving around after I accidentally put too much pressure, same goes for the seat. So I would reccomend really tightening up any screws. Other than that, it is very comfortable to ride on and a pretty color. It looks better in person than online. It took a bit of a time to build it, but not too difficult, and that's saying my brother is an expert with these things. If you have trouble there is a video on youtube by huffy which is great!
The bike looks just like the picture, some colors are not the same, but the colors still blended in nicely. The YouTube video was very helpful while put it together. Now the only problem I have is the damage that was done either in shipping or packing! There where some scuff marks and scratches on different parts. After waiting so long to find a bike that I liked, I'm not going to return it. But if it had been in the store on the sales floor, with this kind of damage, it would have been discounted! But if you like me, and been looking for awhile for a bike, you should just buy it. Hopefully after I contact someone from Walmart.com they will give me a courtesy gift card. That would be the right thing to do. Looks like I can't download too many pictures of the damage, but I'm going to show you just one of some damage, but there were more on other parts. But I did put it together by myself, with just the help of a YouTube video. I'm 54 young.
Front wheel rubbed and made a weird vibration every few sec. seems alignment is off. Possibly a bend either in frame, spoke or front forks. The tire looked like it wobbled when I test rode it. It was a pain to put together. I tried and could not so had my kids father do it. Who is very mechanical. Even after he tightened bike it rode very off. disappointing. It was a gift to myself lol :/ Somebody may have better luck. But $100 is a lot to me so not worth messing with it.
While putting the bike together, the screw fir the handle bars was bent/damage. I need this in order to feel secure while riding. In the manual is G... Also, we cant figure out why, it make a noise..
The bike itself is great for the price, however I run a local bike shop and during Covid I've ordered over 30 of Huffy's Cranbrook from Walmart. I would argue that nearly 1 out of 4 of their bikes come shipped damaged in one sort of way or another. If it's not a shipping issue, it's a mechanical failure by the manufacturer. Luckily, mechanical issues are easily resolved because I can fix them and Huffy has excellent customer service. The damaged parts however such as scratched frames we can't do anything about.
I purchased this bike after receiving an in stock alert on 4/15/21. Great price. The box has multiple holes that a male hand can fit through. Unboxed the product and noticed multiple dings and scratches. The white part of the seat has spot marks. The bike is red however the handlebars nor the seat match the color of the bike. Missing a bolt for the right side of the front wheel. Seat wont tighten enough to hold the seat in place to keep it from falling off. Poorly welded. Just overall not satisfied with this purchase. Im going to contact huffy to see if they can figure out why the seat wont screw on and send a bolt put on the front wheel and possibly matching handlebars and seat. I requested a return. Im hoping to figure this out in the next day or 2. for the price I just want something to ride along with my toddler and I got lucky 1 was in stock after waiting almost a year.
