This is exactlly what we needed! The air here is already dry and when the air conditioner or the heater is running it is just awful. From sinus problems to dry itchy skin, this is going to really help. It has all the adjustments you can want. The amount of mist, humidity level,timer, lights, nice remote and you can even add essential oil if you want to. There is a swivel so you can point the mist in the direction you want. I have a small one now but it is always running out of water, not this one with a nice supply tank that comes apart easily to clean and whisper quiet operation. It is a winner. It does ship in the manufactur's box which looks like a shipping box.

It arrived packaged very well. Thankfully, it's lightweight and can be easily moved around. Assembly was easy being only 3 parts. Operating is straightforward. It comes with a tiny remote but also can be manually operated. I mostly like I have control of the mist volume. I've owned a super soaker and a too fine mist I didn't like. The slim frame will not take up too much space.

this thing is awesome. put distilled water in it then set it and forget it. lots of useful settings, and can be monitored and controlled from any smartphone. great for a small apartment. I bought it for my cats because I have electric baseboard heat.
