Humminbird HELIX 7 CHIRP MEGA DI GPS G4N

Accuracy for depth is perfect. Sonar works as expected. The screen clarity is really good. Responsiveness is instant. For durability my last Helix 5 lasted years before I had issues. This one is now a month old working perfect.

Comes with everything I needed, attractive unit. Can't wait to set up my waypoints, and spot fish.

Super easy to install and customize your install - now as far as actually reading it and using it right - we are learning as we go , definitely could have more helpful instructions for beginners…. Love this thing though cannot wait to become a better fisherman with this devices help .

Nice small sonar for the front of the boat. Get a small amount of interference while motoring with the trolling motor but not terrible. Running it off the my ulterra built-in mdi transducer.

Downscan imaging and sonar.fish,baitfish,brush are easily distinguishable from each other.easy to install.great upgrade from my old sonar.should've purchased one long ago.if your not interested in gps or speedometer,this is the way to go

I bought a Helix 5 two months ago. Had to wait a month to install it. It worked great for two fishing outings with my Minnkota Power Drive connected to the built in Universal Sonar. Third time out it wouldn't work. It would turn on, after several seconds instructed to press menu to start, then instructed to press exit, and it would turn off. I'd have to unplug it and wait about five minutes then plug back in and it would do the same thing. It doesn't matter if it's plugged into the US adapter or plugged in to nothing. It does the same thing every time. I'm not a happy customer but I haven't engaged Humminbird or the Bass Pro where I bought it yet either.

I literally have 30 hours on my boat and this piece of equipment doesn't work anymore. It started by randomly turning itself on right before the warrantywent out. Bring it to the dealer, stops doing it. I get home to take my boat out and it shut itself off and won't turn on. Horrible product, I might have used it 6 times and now it's useless. Never again.
