This thing really sucks!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Use this on a trip to Canada. Suction cup held strong and it made the trip that much better. Didn't have to worry about the transducer coming off the boat.

Sticks like glue
I bought this because I didn't want to drill holes in my 12' Duroboat with an 8hp Yamaha 4 stroke. I tied a small piece of rope onto the transducer bracket and up to the boats lifting handle in case the suction cup came loose. I don't think it's necessary. The suction cup stays put even at 20 mph with the engine wound up. The Humminbird F/F doesn't lose the signal either. I will eventually glue on a transom saver mount, but for now this Humminbird suction cup does a great job. Or I may not. I am very pleased.

Portable Transducer Bracket
I really only needed the suction cup. I wish they would offer the suction cup by itself. I do like the product, makes for a clean looking installation.

Suction cup separate would be best!
The suction cup breaks down over time and all other parts are fine. Humminbird really needs to sell the suction cup separately so that we dont have to buy and waste the other parts

2 years, 3 suction cups
Most recent suction cup mounting kit I purchased was July 28, 2021. Within a month it was showing cracks and falling off the transom. This is ridiculous.

Humminbird: Wake Up!!
I have a 1989 Humminbird portable I used to use on my Avon inflatable, when I was still diving Monterrey Bay. It still works fine. But the transducer mount went with the boat when I traded it for a horse. Now I'm in FL with no horses and a new boat. Well guess what? Humminbird doesn't support that product any longer, just most computer manufacturers and not unlike a lot of kids: when they reach 18 they get an eviction notice.
