Humminbird XPLORE 12 CHO Fish Finder

I'm just getting started with this unit but I already find it easier to use than the helix units. Bright and clear and adjustments are easy to do on the fly

I have been living on old tech with a Gen 1 Helix 10 and upgraded to the XPlore. Wow what a difference in technology and the user interface is so much better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this unit and paired it the megalive2 and WOW!!! The clarity is amazing, it's simple to operate, and the new features are great. Probably my favorite is the screen recording, once you pass an area with the side scan on you can simply take your fingers and drag the image back to see where you have been and look at the bottom. I purchased 2 Xplore units, 1 to run mapping/ sidescan and 1 for the megalive2.

Helix to the next level. This thing is super fast, super easy to use, very clear, and plug n play makes it even easier!

I bought this a couple of months ago and was able to use it for the 1st time this past weekend. No Matter what I threw it showed the bait clearly and the responding fish actions were also very clear. The Xplore fish finder and Live2 combo work great together and will definitely help me catch more fish.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fish finder is a very nice unit. I absolutely love it and want another for the front deck. Touch screen is awesome and the clarity of the screen and imaging is amazing. GPS works greats and the maps are nice.

I am in the process of restoring an older bass boat, to make it what I want requires materials of exceptional quality. That is why I chose Humminbird. The clarity of the live 2 with the Explore is remarkable. I of course have older eyes, so the 12 inch unit suits my needs. The software is quite intuitive to aid with setup and use. I am many things, computer savvy, I am not. This platform allows us whom are challenged in this field to easily find fish and structure. In my first trial run, I was able to see fish and accurately cast and catch one. The fish were exactly were the unit marked them. I am excited to learn and explore this new trend of fishing!

I replaced the Lowrance unit that came in the console of my boat when I bought it new in 2012. I have 2 Humminbird Solix 10 inch units on the bow and like them very much. The new Xplore 10 is definitely an improvement. The screen is bright, clear and resolution is excellent . One of my Solix units is a G3 and with the new operating system can be networked with the Xplore. The sensitivity is excellent and the new operating system is a HUGE improvement. Much easier to navigate and considerably more intuitive. Humminbird hit a home run with this one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found the XP9 to be a good product so far. The clarity is great. Little disappointed it has limited access to my 2016 Minn kota motor. This includes using the GPS on the motor for Spot lock. Still trying to figure out the all the settings. Do not understand the phone connection as it doesn't seem to work as expected. I thought it would receive text messages like my Helix (not that I want text when I am fishing). Really like the side imaging for looking for brush piles. It's better than my Helix 7. I mounted the XP9 in the boat dash and the Helix 7 up front (the GPS quit on the Helix 7 after only 9 years). Anyway I think the XP9 is great and happy with it. However it doesn't help me catch fish 😞.

I am not happy with the 2D or touch screen. The 2D on my Helix 12 G4 was much clearer. Sometimes the touchscreen works sometimes it does not. I like the waypoint management system. Kinda wish I could have kept my Helix 12's. I could not because of compatibility.
