Hummingbird Feeders Ant Prevention Devices Ant Pool Pest Traps

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After some initially issues with the battery not charging, Birdfy quickly sent me a replacement that works great. Within a day of setting it up, I already had a hummingbird! The dual camera is kind of cool to see different angles of the bird. I will say compared to other Birdfy feeders, the battery life does drain if you have a lot of visits or motion. There is no motion sensitivity on this feeder which is a shame given the battery life issues. A solar panel is a must. Taking it down to charge also may be needed periodically. I am very happy with the feeder.

I purchased 1 bird feeder and got 2 identical boxes. Is 1 box birdfeeder and box 2 cameras?

Just be aware that this version does not include a sensitivity setting and it doesn't allow you to only record birds. Therefore anytime the wind moves the feeder, it records. Yesterday, my feeder made 640 recordings and only 46 were birds. So, the camera is smart enough to detect the bird to record, but not smart enough to not record wind movement. There's also no way to change the sensitivity to try to eliminate the pointless recordings. Even with the solar panel the unit is struggling to stay charged, however, it has not died so despite the excessive recording, I haven't lost access to view them. I absolutely love the side view camera which was the biggest reason I purchased this. It's very easy to clean and doesn't leak so long as you put the rubber pieces in place properly. I would still buy it again but just wanted the missing features noted. I mean, if you look at their faq and help, they say to change the sensitivity but then don't offer that option in the app.

The 2 cameras are a nice feature, but the way this feeder is designed with the bottom opening for cleaning, there is no way to fasten it to a birdhouse pole. I have it hanging %26 it sways in the slightest breeze. I spend way too much time deleting videos of just sway %26 have had very few birds come to the feeder.
