I'd never tried toner before this one so I wasn't sure what to expect. I didn't want to get the Thayer's for whatever reason so I ended up getting this one instead. The bottle is really pretty (which is a plus for me), it has a short ingredient list and works amazingly. I have combination skin, recovering from acne, and I can most definitely say that my face has looked better and I haven't had as many breakouts as in the past! If you're no the fence about buying it, do it! It's so worth it :)

I stumbled upon this & am so happy I did! I haven't used a timer in years because they made my face burn & feel tight & dry. This makes my son do smooth & soft & helps even out my pink cheeks! I love it! No makeup or filters needed!

The care that Humphrey's takes to harvest organic witch hazel is what attracted me to the brand, which I've used for a couple of years now. I was specifically looking for a pure, organic, witch hazel product to use as a toner as well as for other antiseptic needs as they arise. I started having a reaction recently which prompted more research and I found that in my excitement to find organic and alcohol free, I overlooked the addition of phenoxyethanol as a preservative. This ingredient is a known skin irritant which causes eczema and other reactions. Very disappointing. Please use caution and always consult the Environmental Working Group (EWG.org) when buying cosmetic (or any) products. Humphrey's: please consider removing all toxic chemicals from your products and please be more transparent about toxic additives…especially because you boast organic and alcohol free.
