HUNTER - 97315 - Classic D12 Portable Desk Fan 12 in 3 speeds

This purchase was a replacement for the same Hunter fan that was well over 15 years old. The old one still works, it just stopped oscillating. Excellent product & well worth the price.

I'm not sure if this review will get published since I didn't buy the fan from this website, but we were given this fan as a wedding gift 14 years ago and we have used it every single night since. Hunter fans are built different. We've gone through other fans that break after a few years but this work horse doesn't show any signs of slowing.

A very nice fan with a retro look. This fan does not look or feel cheap. It feels like a high quality fan that will last me for years.

The brand and particular model are great quality

My entire family loves these fans! We have been buying them for each room. It is the only fan that actually feels like it is blowing cool air. I have bought other cheaper fans in a pinch and always end up replacing with the Hunter fan, they are worth every penny.

I like the fan but I would change two things. The control slide is a little fragile, my other fan has a more robust control slide, It appears that it could snap off easily. The other concern is the 4 tabs that hold the cage together. They used to be quite streamlined to the rim, now they "stick out" when closed. Overall it will suit my needs just fine but the improvements would help your product be even better.

I ordered this on July 13th and it finally arrived August 11th, almost a month. Description says material is steel however fan blade is plastic. For almost $100, construction should be all metal. Will be returning.

Front and back grills / cages rusted out badly in just one season of use. The base is fine. I don't see replacement parts available, so will have to trash and buy another brand.

We bought this fan because it was advertised as 'Whisper Quiet'. It is not. My hearing is not the best and I wear very efficient hearing aids. My spouse does not need hearing aids. We both agree the fan is noisy. Also when I assembled it one of the blades actually contacted the cage. That was even after I moved the blades out to the very end of the shaft. So no - this fan is not good, cannot recommend it. Very disappointed in the erroneous advertising.
