Hunt’s Meat Pasta Sauce, 24 oz. Can

This has been my go-to canned sauce for many years. I love the flavor and consistency. I use this a base for any and all of my sauce based recipes and build on it by adding ingredients as desired. My most used additives include grilled onion, celery, peppers, garlic, spinach, zucchini, mushrooms, etc. I make more of a garden sauce for my spaghetti and lasagna. In my homemade pizza rolls, I add cheeses and pepperoni and this sauce holds up well for the frying. I have tried some of the costlier brands, but they don't stand up to this sauce.

my grandkids LOVE spaghetti! it's a Thursday night tradition. I just doctor up this Hunts spaghetti sauce by browning green and red bell, onion and garlic with a tiny bit of olive oil. then brown 1%23 good hamburger in the veggies. Add the Hunts sauce in and heat. This recipe makes enough to freeze 2 bags for 2 subsequent Thursdays.

I use this for my starter sauce and then I add Italian spices, mushrooms, ground beef, %26 more. Makes a really good Italian sauce for any pasta you want to use it on.

I can't believe this sauce is no more widely available. My family and I love it and it is way more cost effective than the jar stuff. And it tastes way better!

I make my own pasta sauce by combing different flavors of this sauce. I usually combine the meat, traditional and cheese together along with sausage or hamburger meat. Delicious taste, competitive price, versatile and good quality.

Taste is a little bland but I can fix that. I like that there's NO ONIONS! FLAVOR CAN BE FIXED WITH SPICES, YOU CANT REMOVE ONIONS FROM YOUR SAUCE. PRAY THIS ONE DORSNT ADD THEM, TIRED OF LOOKING FOR WHAT I CAN EAT..INSTEAD OF GOING BACK TO MAKING MY OWN FROM SCRATCH. LIKE I DID 30 YEARS AGO

This is a good sauce but I think it will need extra flavor. I typically use it as a tomato sauce and add a spaghetti sauce mix packet with it. To me it does not have as much flavor as some other Jared sauces but it works well as tomato sauce.

ehh a little bland ..a very watery texture.good for a quick sauce ..you get what you pay for. i would not buy again or recommend .theres better jar sauces for just a little more

I'm not sure what kind of "meat" is in this . But I didn't see ANY.. I expected atleast a meat "texture". 🤷 Still good, thick sauce.. good for dipping.

Lately I have not been receiving all my items. even though they give a refund I'm starting to get frustrated with them because it's a inconvenience to not have all my items
