Hunt’s Traditional Pasta Sauce, 24 oz. Can

people say there's a difference in glass or can I haven't found this yet but what I've found out that this recipe hasn't changed much in the 20 years I have been cooking ( pro tip if you're aren't going to use the cans right away turn them upside down you'll thank me later. just store them upside down you'll see a difference

Hunt's Traditional Pasta Sauce is super reliable. Smooth, classic tomato flavor, balanced, not too sweet or tangy. I love using it to cook pasta with meatballs; it makes dinner easy and tasty.

I have tried a lot of canned and jar sauces but this one works best when i dont have time to make my own. i just add a little italian spices and its ready. my kids and grands do not like the tomato chunks in some sauces but this is smooth and pureed.

I have always loved Hunt's Traditional Pasta Sauce. As others came along over the years I tried them and always returned to Hunts. It has a clean pasta taste that never changes. You can use it straight out of the can of course but because it's so basic you can 'make it your own' very easily. Add meat, mushrooms, your own taste in seasonings, whatever and this sauce will happily 'get married' in the pot. It really accepts anything without trying to take over. And that my friends is exactly what a Great basic sauce should do. Worth every penny.

This is NOT pasta sauce. The traditional and four cheese don't even have a good flavor and they are so watered down that it makes runny pasta, spaghetti . The sauce (liquid) is bland and for what you get, it's not worth it IMO. I have tried 3 types of Hunts and all of them are just so/so. These sauces would make a better base (roux) for your tomato soups or basil soups like tomato vegetable however for pasta meals, no in my opinion. Sorry Hunts, you missed the mark on these. (My opinion only).

Very good sauce, but this last order I received - shipped to my house was full of dented cans, I ordered 8 cans and 6 cans were dented.

Came in a timely manner. Box was pristine perfect condition. Even had cushioning packed inside. but EVERY SINGLE can is SEVERLY dented. One won't even stand upright, some are unable to use a can opener on, will have to puncture and pry open. Obviously they were dented before they were packed. Hopefully they will stay air tight.

Every can is deeply dented with big dents. Very dissatisfied. The cans are all severely damaged and shipping box was pristine. This means a person packed those severely damaged canned goods and shipped them. This is a very unsafe practice and I will be seeking a refund.

ALL nine cans arrived dented, almost smashed. The outside box was fine. These cans had to be dented in the store, and still, someone packaged them and shipped them out. I then requested a return, and I only received one can, and it was smashed. The product I purchased was a four-pack, and I brought (2) Now, I have nine cans of dented pasta sauce. Very upset with this transaction.

poor packing by walmart and complete run around trying to get a 7 dollar refund took over 45 min and 8 different chat freaks to get my refund for their negligence
