This charger works

David January 2, 2026

I have a few vehicles that sit unused for and I am alway confronted with batteries in various states and I needed a battery charger that could work to bring a battery back to life and top it off. This is my first time using a charger such as this and I didn't know what to expect in regards to how good it would work. My main reasons for purchasing this charger were the features and the price point. There were more expensive models with more power but I didn't need that. This charger does well in charging riding lawn mower batteries and car batteries that have some small degree (slight less that 12 V). It's slow but it does the job. When it comes to recovering a battery (i.e. complete discharge) it did work. This 12V car battery had a charge of about 1 V when I measured it with my multimeter. For a charger to start working an charging the battery the voltage needed to be higher and I cheated a bit by using battery cables to connect the dead battery to a good battery in my truck and letting the alternator do the job of putting an initial charge on the dead battery. After about 10-15 min I had about 6 V on the dead battery. I disconnected it from the truck and took it inside the shed to connect to this charger to see how well it would work to continue the job. I selected the repair function on the charger and left it overnight. To my surprise I had 12 volts on a previously dead battery and I switched over to the normal charge/desulfate / maintain function. The battery is now back and holding a strong charge. While this was an N of 1 on how well this charger works to bring a dead battery back to life, I like it and for what I paid for it, I'm very happy.

solid buy

Anonymous July 23, 2026

unit works well, used it for fla car batteries and a 24v lifepo4 battery bank. decent charging speed, desulfuring mode for lead acid batteries, no float/adsorption mode for lifepo4, charges to adsorption voltage of 29v and cuts off. it does the job and does it better than units that I've used that cost four times the price.

I wAs surprised of the size of the unit and the proformance. I used it on my riding lawn mowers and a yard tractor. I haven't used it on my truck. I think for the money it will be good for small batteries. It may not work on in-line battery system.

Yes, it was a nice purchase for me. It seems to do everything I expected and more even restored one battery that I had from a motorcycle that I thought was dead and gone forever but it's up in charge now good product.

Core wrapping is ridiculous

Michael January 5, 2025

Haven't tried charging my battery as of yet. Looks nice. All reviews are positive. However, the first thing I noticed that I didn't like was that the cord winding/storage is ridiculous. I even watched many youtube videos of people unpacking and using the charger. EVERY video, when it came to them showing the "convenient" cord wrapping/storage feature, the video jump cut to another scene before they could get it wrapped. That right there dropped my rating by one star. Terrible feature and yet they brag about it. It's an entire mess and you won't get happy or satisfied with this feature.

Don't waste your time!

Thomas October 30, 2025

This charger is junky light weight. No instructions, no indication it's even turned on. Waste of time.

Not so SMART

Gene November 10, 2024

Okay a lead acid battery is fully charge at 12.4-.8 volts. A AGM battery is fully charged at 12.6-.8 volts. I have an AGM battery the voltage reads 11.4 volts, connect this charger and it says FULLY CHARGED(?) Doesn't matter where you set charger it says FULLY CHARGED. What I did realise with a volt meter connected to battery and connecting charger the charger instantly brings battery up to 12.8 volts but is not charging says FULLY CHARGED.
