Husky Universal Molded Splash Guards

Michael April 14, 2019

Good replacement for my 2004 Ranger OEM splash guards, which had grown brittle with age (and one broke off completely). The Husky guards were easy to install - as expected, I had to put 3 screw holes in each to use the factory mounting points. I chose these as they are roughly the same shape and size as the original, and they ppear to have flexibility to last quite a few winters in better shape than did the originals.

2009 C hevy Tahoe

Craig S. April 19, 2016

Perfect fit on my 2009 Tahoe LTZ. Did not have to drill any new holes in the metal to install. You can use the clips that hold the plastic wheel well covers.

They get the job done

Shannon R. December 4, 2012

I gave a "Great" rating cuz they are what they say they are, only down side is he wishes they were a better fit for the Toyota Tundra, which are molded different....but that's on Toyota. They serve the purpose.

Much better looking than average universal mud flaps

Carl R. November 5, 2015

After trying custom molded mud flaps I found out my '05 Sierra didn't have factory flares. The Husky was the next best thing for appearance and quality. Had a tough time installing them trying to use the existing holes. Even though I used a template couldn't get it quite right and had to make unwanted adjustments. If anyone knows a better trick to mark out the existing holes I would like to know.

OK flaps. Look better on trucks with wider tires.

Louis P. May 1, 2016

These are universal fit flaps so they won't have that custom fit look if that's what you're after. Drilling is required but it's fairly simple so nothing to worry about. These are a bit wider than your normal mud flaps so if you have wider wheels, these would probably look better. I have 275's on mine and these didn't quite look right. And these aren't that rigid so I'm a little concerned about quality. I think they should be okay however I much prefer the rigid type mud flaps.

Look great installed on all 4 wells of my 4X4 PU and yet to be tested .

Joe E. November 14, 2012

Ordering and reciept of the order were easy and timely. Installing the product was trying because I installed them on and in front of new fender flares. They finished off the flares perfectly and looook greaaaat! Just what I needed to finish off the restoration of my 1975 Chevy Scotsdale 4X4, short bed, stepside.

Not Sure Why They Call Them "Molded"

Phillip M. December 11, 2017

When I ordered these, I wasn't sure what to expect. The Real Truck representative warned me that I may have to drill a couple of holes and that there really weren't any splash guards made to specifically fit my 2003 Ram Truck. As with most items you receive today to self-install, the instructions were close to worthless. Luckily, I have a friend with a Dodge and I had him bring it over to do some comparisons as far as locating the holes and drilling them out. The first one has a couple of more holes than I wanted by the time I got it installed but that is nothing a little gasket seal won't hide. The other went on without a hitch.

Wide Mud Guards

Karl S. June 19, 2014

I purchased these for my Ford Ranger because they were nice and wide. The factory guards were too narrow and when you turned the front wheels would splash debris down the side of the truck. Now I don't have that problem since I extended them an 1" past the edge of the fender.

Universal fit, not

Robert B. June 8, 2014

Appearance was good until I was done cutting them to fit. These were not easy to install and should have been made to fit a van similar to what I was putting them on. Basically it was here are the mudflaps, you make them fit. Poor value and I wouldn't recommend them.

NOT for 2019 Ford F-450

Duke April 4, 2022

These "universal" mud flaps do not even come close to fitting my 2019 F-450. They seem heavy enough and would have worked if they would fit. Not even able to modify them enough and still work.
