Very light weight and since I have the battery chainsaw I can just swap batteries around easily enough if I need to. I would highly recommend this is you already own or thinking about getting different battery powered devices. Note that this is only a smaller battery than the chainsaw but still last long enough for my property.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just tried this weed trimmer out for the first time. This tool seems very well thought out. It has quite a lot of power. I was trimming some quite high and dense weed/grass that initially I was wondering how a cordless tool would do. I was very pleased and it cut this patch without even needing the power boost feature. I topped up the charge before I used it and the battery lasted over 45 minutes and there was still one bar (LED) lit when I checked the charge status. These tools do get heavy after prolonged use so for me, by the time the battery is needing a charge, I will have had all the weed whacking I can stand. I am very pleased with this purchase. As I have only had it for a day, I can't comment on durability but the tool seems very well made.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The trimmer is doing a great job on our heavy weeds and grass, The line loading is simple too. I'm using the same batteries that go with my Husky chain saw, so that's a big plus. I'm quite satisfied so far.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first electric trimmer and it is a major step up from my last gas powered one. It is so much lighter and better balanced. It is just as powerful plus it has a turbo mode. I love that I can change the direction of the head rotation to pitch trimming on either side. The battery lasts much longer than I thought it would and it works so much quieter. It also doesn't vibrate as much. I used to hate using the weed wacker and now it's not a problem. I highly recommend this product.

Great for throwing grass/weeds away from you. Very ingenious. Unit balances perfectly and handles like a dream. Can't wait to use it weekly.

Ran this tool for about 15 minutes yesterday. That is when the battery died. It is unconscionable to sell this tool with a single battery when the charge time is greater than the battery charge life. I cannot recommend this tool for any job whatsoever and and sadly disappointed that I spent money on this.
