Husqvarna 322HD60 24 in. Gas-Powered Hedge Trimmer

I wanted the 122HD60 because the rotating handle is nice, ended up getting the 322HD60 in a bundle deal and it's incredible! I thought it would be too heavy, but because the blade is longer it is better balanced the the 122 models. The rotational handle is absolutely worth it. Also it starts in one pull. I have been a long time Stihl owner but am very impressed with Husqvarna. I also have a 322L trimmer which is very light and purchased a Z448 zero turn. Happy with everything so far.

My main use for hedge clippers is to try and control the undergrowth around our property which includes huge amounts of wild roses. These are an invasive woody plant that can cover an area and make it virtually impenetrable. There can't be many uses that are harder on equipment than mine. For years I've been using a high-end competitor's brand and learned to accept that a trimmer will only last a couple of years under these conditions. I thought I'd try a Husqvarna and see if they were any better. There's no comparison and I was shocked at the difference. The blades stay sharper and the engine seems much more powerful. The Husky is a little heavier, but it's worth it for the conditions I work with. Down the road as things wear out I'll go to my Husqvarna dealers for a replacement.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this machine for two seasons now and I'm very happy with it. It eats everything I've thrown at it, has been extremely reliable and is comfortable to use for extended periods of time. I love the swiveling handle.

Bought this last fall and love it. Lots of power and cuts 1 1/2 inch branches with ease. Adjustable handle is great for on edge cutting.

Larger than I anticipated which made it even better. It starts very easy when cold. When warm you barely need to pull the string and its already running. Sharp heavy duty blades cut easily through branches and small trees.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this 6 or 7 months ago and have used it frequently. I will say that I had a minor issue with the blade sticking and it also kept wanting to cut off. I took it back to the dealer where it was purchased and they fixed it fairly quickly. Had to replace a bolt on the blade and also had to replace the coil which apparently was bad when it was purchased new. I haven't had the first problem with it since it was fixed! I can truly say it has made a huge difference in me wanting to trim the hedges! Even with the minor issues and them being covered by the warranty, I would definitely recommend this trimmer to everyone! Its a great machine and works much better than the Stihl that I had borrowed in the past! Just for the record, the Stihl was a piece of junk!
