Husqvarna 42" Mulch Kit

Purchased mulch kit from Walmart online after Snapper site said there was not one, it arrived promptly at a great price of only $40.07 total. Included were 2 blades and a deck block off plate with hardware, easy to install works great. Tried to post info on Snapper site, but they refused the post, their loss! A lot of customers need a mulch function

Direct fit. Took me less time to replace the blades and cover then it did to put the mower up on my ramps in preparation to replace the blades. Gas usage is better and the mower runs smoother with these blades.

Easy to install. Took about an hour to jack up my tractor and remove the old blades. I watched a YouTube video first.Works great on dry grass with leaves. Havent used it yet on wet leaves.

Received kit when promised. Fit perfectly. Installed quickly. Although instructions did not address, I removed the unnecessary Pdischarge chute to facilitate closer mowing on right side.

Ease of ordering and speed of delivery were outstanding. Although the item was advertised as fitting 42" Husqvarna mowers, it did not fit mine. The ad did not mention the models and serial numbers that were printed on the box I received, which did not include mine. Consequently, I had to return it. If the ad had included the models/serial numbers, I would have given a higher rating. I do appreciate the ease of returning the item to the local Walmart which relieved me of the task of shipping back.

I thought this kit would help eliminate the amount of visible grass clipping instead it seems it has intensified. The clippings are more concentrated in a straight line but the clippings aren't finely cut. I will continue to use to get my monies worth but I will not purchase another kit like this.

The photo in the item description is exactly like the one on my mower that I was trying to replace. When I got the item it was COMPLETELY DIFFERENT than the photo in the item description and didn't even come close to fitting my mower deck. Very disappointing that I had to wait a week to get the wrong item and now wait another week to get the correct part from a different supplier.

This is advertised as 46", but when it arrived, it is for a 42" deck. I am sure this has to be a data entry problem. That does not solve my problem of not having what I need at this time. I am afraid to reorder because it probably won't fit....

this is a 42" kit not a 46" as in heading. if you buy you will get a 42" & will not fit your 46" deck.

This item only fits Husqvarna Z254 and Z142 per Husqvarna.
