[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's getting harder to find a large carburetor version of equipment and I made this purchase due to my 1 year old fuel injected one (not Husqvarna) now sitting in the shop for an unknown fuel injection problem. This ST230 fires right up and has a lot of power for a 30" blower. Really launches the snow. The controls for the direction and angle of the chute are great compared to many others. So much faster to swing it right or left/up and down compared to other models I've used. Great aggressive treads on the tires and very adjustable to the user. Highly recommend.

Purchased a Husqvarna Snowblower which made short order of the driveway but more importantly, this Husky cut through 3'-6' drifts left by Twp. snowplow trucks at the end of my driveway like I was going for a weekend stroll. What would have taken two days took 20 minutes. I don't know what your time is worth but this thing paid for itself already. Yeah Baby!

I cannot get anyone to fix or even sell me a part under the controls that act as a spine for all the controls and unfortunately, it is made of grey plastic instead of steel and has cracked causing the chute rotator head to only throw the snow in one direction,

I've had my st230 for 4 years now. Reliability has not been great. It was chewing up belts due to misaligned pulleys, had a broken auger, and today the speed control cable shredded. I can't say I'd recommend the brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The machine feels solid and performs fantastic but, the spark plug blew on the first run. The dealer told me that this is common with this model. ????. they had it for over a week.

Purchased a new 230 in October 2024. Consistently has issues with gearing…no reverse, would move in 6th gear when lever was in first…etc. no help from dealer at all last winter with issues. finally friction plate and wheel packed it in and had no gears at all. All transmission parts needed to be replaced. Has been in shop for last 4 weeks waiting for parts while I have had to shovel the 1.5 meters of snow that has fallen over the last 4 weeks by hand. Thanks husqvarna.

Delivered on time but crate was slightly damaged, but didn't look too bad so I accepted it. Now have it in to return, but will have to rent a truck to bring it to the nearest Walmart store. This this looked like a good offer, but now I'm without a snow blower and have to out of pocket pay for a rental truck.

Quality is awful. The plastic console broke 1st year, and the drive cable broke 3rd year. Carburetor problems. The electric starter doesn't work now.
