Heavy-duty but bulky. Works well.
Heavy duty and is a lot more durable than the standard office lanyard badge reels found in most stores. Heavy-duty plastic-coated cable. key ring is handy for keeping office key with badge. It is heavy and bulky but that is the price for something that will last, I guess.

this retractable badge holder is more durable than I expected, the cable length is awesome! maybe about 6" longer than other retractable holders.

If all you want to put in is an id you should be good but adding say a time card or whatever else, it'll be a challenge to get it out.
