Drone is rechargeable and battery lasts longer than others I've tried. Remote picks up to 150ft and easy to use. This thing actually does all that it describes. Fun for young and old. It's like a remote control skateboard and drone in one. Fast and drives/flies with ease. Was afraid to try it on water at first but of course the hubby went for it. Not just on water, in water. This thing flew down into the pool, went under, and flew back out without damage or losing speed!! Now the whole family is fighting over it so I guess I need to get more lol. Keeps the kids and adults occupied for hours.
With these kinds of toys I am always worried that they will be too complicated to control and end up collecting dust, this one is just the opposite and is very easy to control. Not only is it easy to control but it is tough and built to last. As you can imagine anything that flies high in the air needs to be durable, no matter how hard it hit against the ground it didn't even have a scratch and was fully operable. The battery is fully protected while in use and you remove it to charge. It charges quickly and has a long play time between charges.
This drone is dope because it can be in water or in the air. It's fast and easy to operate outdoors. We tested it indoors and outdoors, indoors is funny because it can glide under furniture. We also tested it out on the lake to see how well the drone glides on water and it's so freaking neat! We once lost a drone over the Pacific and man it would have been nice to have had one like this, at that time.. My only complaint if any is there's no built in camera and as far as I can tell, there's no way to attach one. The bright colors make it easier to spot too.
Fun toy drone! We were eager to try this one out as we don't have a hybrid yet. For the size, the drone is more lightweight than I expected. It was quite easy to get used to on the ground, but in air mode, I struggled to keep it flying at first. My kids have much more experience and got used to the controls and switching modes quickly. They're really wanting to try the water mode, but because of cold temps, high winds and rain, we haven't been able to test it just yet. Overall, it is pretty fun despite a few random glitches with the remote, but that could just be me being inexperienced. I do feel it could be priced a little lower for what it is, but out of all the toy drones we own, I have found the battery on this one lasts longer, and my kids seem to like it the best, because of the different modes and the design. If you're looking for a decent toy drone, this is a good one. Every one we own has its faults, and this one is by far the best if you could catch it on sale.
This drone was fun for my nine-year-old for a little bit. It doesn't seem to stand up to the test of time though. Though I gave it three stars because my son definitely is hard on things and it could have just been him playing too hard with it. But it broke about the fifth time he played with it.
I am not sure quite what to think about this drone. If you look in the pictures you can see that all the electronics are exposed and you were supposed to be able to use it from water to air. Also it flips over a lot and so then you have to walk over and pick it up to turn it right side up. It does have a lot of power and would really need to be used in a large open space. With some work I think that you would be able to navigate it very well but I am concerned with it being in water in the electronics on the bottom being exposed so that is why I gave it a three.
My boys were so excited about this stunt drone. It came just in time for Christmas which was a Christmas present so that was great. But, my youngest who can figure out anything couldn't get this thing to do right at all. He tried getting this to work the whole Christmas day and still to this day he messes with it.
It's ok. It's not the easiest to control, and we've had issues of it running on it's own after landing. The battery also pops out easily when in use. It may be that this is something we haven't tried before, and we're still learning to operate. We have not had the opportunity to use in water yet, but that does seem like a cool option for the warmer months.
I think I paid almost $40 for this regular price drone I got it for my daughter's father for Father's Day I understood that it was a trick one and didn't know much about drones but this was ridiculous it just did a few dives up in the air and dips and that was about it and then the motor went out of it totally in a week and now we're stuck with a piece of crap how embarrassing don't recommend it all
Useless Junk. will not fly. iffy response to the remote. I have 5 drones and several remote aircrafts that I fly often so I know what I'm doing. And this thing is the worst I've seen. Only one motor seems to work correctly and the battery and some of the wiring connections are not waterproof. May as well set a brick on ground and make fly using your T.V. remote.
