I used to rely on a pressure cleaner for my pool, but it was always a hassle. The hoses constantly got tangled, and the unit often got stuck on the edge of the steps, spraying water wildly from the tail. On top of that, it seemed like something broke every year, and it consumed a lot of electricity since the pump had to run for hours. This cordless pool vacuum is a total game changer. It solves all the problems I had before—no tangled hoses, no getting stuck, and it's super easy to take out of the water. You can set it to one of three modes right from your phone, drop it in the pool, and it does the job on its own. All you need to remember is to charge it. The build quality is excellent—it feels solid and well-made in the hand. The filter is dense and fine, and the top and bottom both open up for easy cleaning. I absolutely love it!
The Poolmate Hydro 3S is my first pool cleaning robot, and I had the chance to test it today in my hot tub. It was interesting to see how it operates. While the device was charging, I downloaded the "Poolmate Bot" app and familiarized myself with its operations and functions. On the back of the machine, there are three modes you can choose from—auto, wall, and floor. You can switch between these modes by toggling the device off and on again within 5 seconds. Additionally, if you don't mind using the app, you can enable eco mode through it. This mode effectively extends the runtime by 30%, providing a more energy-efficient option. Whichever mode you choose, it's important to set it up before placing the vacuum in water. Once submerged, the Bluetooth connection between the machine and your phone will be lost. Another interesting point to note is that the bot is heavy enough to sink to the floor underwater, yet light enough to be picked up with ease—a great balance. I also noticed that it has strong suction, easily pulling in the sand from the bottom of the floor. Overall, I am happy with the purchase and can't wait to put it to a real test when the swimming pool opens in the coming weeks.
I'm really impressed with this robotic pool vacuum. It makes cleaning my pool so much easier. With multiple cleaning modes and the option to control it through an app, it's super convenient. The battery life is great – I can leave it running on eco mode for hours, and it still gets the job done. The large filter basket holds a lot, so I don't have to empty it constantly. It works really well for both inground and aboveground pools, and it's saved me so much time and effort. Highly recommend it!
I am very pleased with the robotic vacuum. I was previously using a vacuum that connected to the skimmer and I hated it because of the hose. This is a huge upgrade. It works really well at navigating the entire pool. It also climbs the walls without any issue. The pool has been really clean every time after using it. In addition, I was worried about it getting stuck at the stairs, but I have not had to help it even once yet. The app is also very convenient and i love that when the battery gets low, it knows to stop by the edge of the pool to easily retrieve. This is a huge convenience and time saver. Highly recommended.
I've tried multiple pool cleaners, but the Hydro 3S is by far the best. The cordless design is so convenient, and the 300-minute runtime in ECO mode covers my entire 1,500 sq. ft. pool effortlessly. The dual pumps suck up leaves and sand like magic. No more blind spots—just a spotless pool every time!
I've been using the Poolmate Hydro 3S for a few days now and I'm seriously impressed. The biggest selling point for me is that it's completely cordless, which is a game-changer—especially during rainy season. No more worrying about running power cords outside or dealing with wet electrical connections. It gives me total peace of mind. The setup was quick and easy, and the unit is surprisingly lightweight, which makes it easy to carry and store. Despite the compact size, it's incredibly powerful and does a thorough job on both the pool floor and walls. I love that it gives you the option to choose which area you want to clean—just the floor, just the walls, or both. That flexibility really helps optimize cleaning cycles depending on the state of the pool. The battery life is solid—300 minutes in ECO mode! It also charges much faster than I expected, so I can use it frequently without long downtimes. The app control is another great feature—it's user-friendly, and I can monitor or adjust cleaning settings right from my phone. Also worth noting: the dual centrifugal pumps and large 4.1L filter basket mean it can handle debris, leaves, and dirt with ease. I have both kids and pets, so keeping the pool clean can be a chore—but this little machine makes it effortless. If you're looking for a powerful, smart, and safe pool cleaning solution, the Hydro 3S is 100% worth the investment.
I manage a resort with three large pools, and the Hydro 3S cuts my cleaning time in half. The cordless design lets me deploy it anytime, and the 300-minute runtime covers all pools back-to-back. The dual pumps handle everything from sunscreen residue to leaves.
This is a game changer I can't believe this kind of product exist. We have a traditional pool vacuum and it is such a headache. Some time the rock stuck inside and it stop moving. I bought this for a back up of my current pool vacuum, because last summer it has problem and caused lots of problem in hot days. I am soo happy with this purchase and give me peace of mind. Let's see how long the battery will last.
Honestly didn't expect much but it surprised me. Super easy to use, and the cordless thing? Total win. My pool isn't huge but has some tricky corners and it actually does a decent job. Sometimes it misses a spot or two on the walls, but overall—worth the buy.
Charged the Hydro 3s overnight. Showed full charge. Worked in the pool for 15 minutes then stopped in the deep end. Pulled it out, no lights showing or flashing, and hooked to charger again. Still showed full battery. Downloaded app and updated firmware. Put on charger again overnight nevertheless. Put it on floor only. Dropped in the water. Spent 30 minutes doing nothing but “standing up”. Saw flashing red light while in the water. Pulled out. No blockage or debris. Dropped in water again after turning off and on. Still standing upright for 15 minutes. Flashing red light again. Took it out, repackaged, and took to WM store to return. NOTE: I do like the features on the hydro cordless so have ordered the Hydro 3 to see if I have any better luck with it.
