Hydro-Force Oceana 10ft 2-in-1 Inflatable Stand-Up Paddleboard/Kayak Set, Original

Absolutely love our paddle boards. We saw these at Walmart and loved the price. We have used them about 10 times so far this summer and have had a lot of fun. We love that you can either paddle board or kayak and have had lots of people out on the reservoir ask us about the seat that straps on there. It was a bit of a struggle to pump them up the first time and we have left them pumped up in our garage since then and just put them on the roof rack to transport them. They have kept their air for over 5 weeks. They are easy to lift (weigh about 15lb) but are big to maneuver . We love that in 15 minutes we can be on the water having fun.

This is only my second standup paddle board so can only compare it to my first one. My first one was also a Hydro-Force - an earlier model. This one is about 8 pounds lighter which makes a big difference carrying it out to the water. It's also a bit thicker which keeps the water off a little better if your intent is to stay dry. Holds the air well. So far so good

I was hesitant to buy this since there was only two reviews, so Im writing this for those who are like me. Ive taken this board out a total of 3 times this week and I love it, I had two close friends buy one as well because they loved it. Pumping it up is a workout in itself though. My son whose one kept his balance pretty well on it too! 10/10 would buy again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like that the Hydro Force is so durable I did not think to would be so thick, I also like the convertibility from SUP to Kayak as a long 3-4 ride down a river you want to reserve energy so sitting as opposed to standing or kneeling is relatively easy. The only thing is I need to work on paddling as its so buoyant vs a hard board that it moves left to right very quickly so takes a little mastery. I'm looking forward to some different lakes to take this on.

It's as sturdy as a hard SUP, but so much easier to take on the go. This is a perfect starter board for people who love to or want to SUP on their own board but don't want to spend a ton of money on their first board. It still takes up a fair amount of space in the car and takes about 20 minutes to inflate (and the pump that comes with it has a pressure gauge to ensure you hit the right numbers). I love the kayak convertibility feature which allows you to sit on the board instead of stand. The colors are vibrant and it comes with everything you need to get started on your next paddleboard adventure! The biggest downside for me is that it is a single-air-chamber SUP, so its use is restricted in some places. We still have plenty of lakes and rivers to explore with it, but it is something worth noting.

The Hydro-Force Oceana Stand Up Paddleboard felt very stable with good maneuverability, we felt comfortable fairly quickly in our new environment. One of the cool features of the set is the kayak seat, if you get tired of standing, just switch out to the seat for easy cruising. Highly recommend for beginners.

bag ripped the first time i used it. paper thin! pump doesn't work at all. i had to buy a new pump. I will most likely return this. poor quality.
