Hydrotools 20' Wide Commercial Quality Inground Pool Solar Reel System with 4" Tube

It is difficult to find a quality reel for a wider pool.(20' Wide) This one works great and my wife can finally remove the solar cover alone. With basic tools and a little mechanical ability assembly was no issue. The directions weren't great but none are anymore.

I've only had this a short time but so far it is worth the extra money. The directions are so-so as it comes with some parts that you don't need (for the 4" model)... but it's not too difficult to figure out. Time will tell if it lasts but it seems like it will.

Excellent reel system, all parts accounted for and assembly was easy enough to complete.

The solar reel system is excellent. I have owned 2 other versions of a solar reel system and this is absolutely the best I have ever owned. It is very easy to roll up and unroll. I love it!

All in all it's what is described, however the installation instructions SUCK, the tubes aren't thick enough for 14' wide, & it takes HOURS to configure.

Still assembling and haven't used it yet. Very confusing and minimal instructions (at least for me). To add to the confusion, parts for the 3” tube and a few other odds/ends were included in the shipment. I'm trying to figure out what goes where and nothing matching with instructions provided for a fun afternoon of bonding with my wife. Seems to be a nice reel. We purchased because both end supports have wheels.

This reel is not sturdy. The reel falls over when you pull the solar cover back over the pool. I expected more from a $400 commercial reel. I gave it one star because I couldn’t give it any less. It’s a crappy reel so save yourself a headache and don’t buy this one.
