Hyper Tough 1-inch Metal Spring Clamp with Rubber Tips and Handles

Handy clamp that I purchased for holding the handle of my lawnmower instead of using my hand to squeeze the lever. It also came in handy for holding up a baffle on a shepherd's hook to keep squirrels from climbing. A must have, and I will buy more.

These clamps are terrific! We use them to clamp clothing in to fit better on photo shoots, or to hold things in place from behind, sometimes even to help weight things down a bit in the wind. Also great to clamp down projects where glue needs to set, or for all kinds of uses when camping or picnicking. They have a power level that is tough, but easy to manage with one hand. The mechanism seems solid.

I've been using the smaller clips from Walmart to keep cat food bags closed and they work really well for helping keep air out. I recently got the bigger ones for larger bags, and they hold tightly too. The large clips are a little tougher to open because they're tighter but they feel sturdy and secure once clipped on. Good option for pet food bags or anything you want sealed better. I just noticed my old ones look a little rusty but they're over a year old and still work perfectly.

Great size on both the small and medium units included. The grip strength of all was more than adequate. Not difficult to squeeze open however if you're elderly, have arthritis or hand strength issues I'm sure you would encounter issues.

Stronger than expected for their size. Overall good quality, but the rubber ends can come off sometimes. No big deal.

Clamps are very tight and hold together different materials.

extremely tight. hard to use unless you are very strong. if you need SUPER tight it is great.

These small clamps don't have strong enough tension to hold too well. I have similar sized red clamps that I got elsewhere with MUCH more powerful grip. These are so-so. I use them for chip bags but if it's too thick of a bag, they aren't even great for that. I need a stronger clamp so I wouldn't get these particular ones again.
