This light is such a good product. I placed it on my fence in a part of my yard that is very dark at night, close to the alleyway, and often traveled by raccoons coming down from my neighbors' trees. It was super-easy to put up - I just used a drill and the included screws and bracket to put it up on a fence rail, then slid the light into the bracket with the solar panel facing up. It's also very easy to adjust up and down with a little knob.I let it charge in the sun all day, per instructions. When it got dark, the lights around the edge of the light came on automatically, which just sort of glows around the area of the light. When I approached the light, though, from about 15 feet away, the motion sensor detected me and came on VERY brightly with the large array of lights on the bottom side. I love that! I'm hoping it will deter the raccoons from going through my yard and driving my dog nuts, as well as give me peace of mind that anyone who tries to come over the fence at night will be easily visible, and hopefully surprised by that bright light. I want to get another one to go on the other side of the fence, too! It's so convenient to have a bright light that charges all day and not have to worry about electric and wires. This technology is excellent for people who don't have electrical skills or the budget to pay someone to run wires for them. I would recommend not putting it where it can shine into anyone's window at night because the motion sensor light is VERY bright and would probably wake people up. And I like the way the automatic light is just nice and glowy, but not intrusively bright. All in all, an excellent product!

Firstly the Hyper Tough 1000 Lumen LED Solar Street Light with motion sensor is pretty big so at first i couldn`t decide where to mount it but its different style of mounting hardware allowed me to mount it to out metal carport scaffold -other solar lights were unable to be mounted there. The street light part is all around its rectangle sides and is a constantly "ON" low light so we can just see the back of our vehicle at night but when there`s movement like when were parking the light floods our carport. Very comforting to have a well lit area now

I have become in love with solar energy motion sensor lights This light is adaptable to be used inside at either of two light levels should we lose power or outside to repel deer. It is not as bright as more expensive solar energy motion sensor lights but for someone just needing a dependable light source it works well. I am attaching a photo showing the amount of lighting in a big room.

This street light is larger than what I expected but very welcomed. I don’t have power to my gate so this was the best option. It had a u bracket that attached to the light itself with a sleeve that slides off to encompass the fence pipe or whatever surface you attach it to. Place the solar cells upward and wait for the sun to go down. It shines bright most of the night and helps us to see the lock to open the gate in the dark when needed. A most useful product, very happy with this selection.
