I bought this for my husband to add to his other tools organization for garage. He is wanting to be able to have certain hand tools at the ready instead of in a drawer and this fit the bill. Fits on pegboard and allows adding different tools such as pliers , screwdrivers and other hand tools. It is made of heavy duty plastic and we have had great luck with the hyper tough brand at a great affordable fost,
This looks great for the pegboard my husband plans to put in our garage. We have moved but are not ready yet to be putting up pegboard and tools. It looks sturdy and seems like it will be a good thing to have once we can organize the garage after all the boxes are unpacked and gone!
I don't have a peg board in my garage. I attached the tool holder to a small board (using the screws enclosed). Then using the long screws (also enclosed) I attached the board to vertical wood beams. Easy peasy. I now can put out all my screwdrivers, wrenches and other small tools out where I can see them. No more pawing thru the drawers to find that special tool. This is going to be a very handy little gadget.
First, the Hyper Tough 11-inch Multi-Tool Holder for a Pegboard is sweet! I love it! I'm all about being organized and I couldn't ask for a better system. Actually, I have my current one in the garage, and I plan on buying more for the garage, as well as one or two for my craft room. As far as tools go, I don't use a large variety. My husband is the tool guy, but I've commandeered the Hyper Tough holder as mine. He has to get his own. My plan is to put everything in its place then take a picture, laminate it, and put it right next to the tool holder. No, I'm not OCD. I have three teens. I'm, “Mama wants her stuff put back where it belongs!” I love the various hole sizes (pictured), built in ruler, and hooks. I'm a happy camper when there are hooks. It was incredibly easy to install. There's also an option if you don't have a pegboard. It doesn't take up a lot of space. I like that it can hold a lot of items, and because it's tiered, the tools are still easy to see. Overall, I give the Hyper Tough Multi-Tool Holder for a Pegboard TWO THUMBS UP!
I probably have more than the recommended 3.5 pounds of weight on this and I'm not worried in the least about it's ability to handle it. It holds a surprising amount of smaller tools in a small area on a pegboard. You can alternatively use it without a pegboard by screwing it into a plywood backing board. Very satisfied with this product!
This little tool holder has came in super handy. It was easy to install on my peg board. I filling every single hole to just see how much I could get away with. It has held up extremely well to my different weight test. I also love the fact I can easy take it off the pegboard to move it or clean it. I could definitely use a few more of these holders.
I have a lot of pegboard walls and I still get crowded, this Pegboard Multiple Tool Holder really frees up a lot of space. Now that I know how handy the Tool Holders is, I plan to put several over all my workbenches. and you can mount it on any wall or other surfaces, it really is a universal tool holder. It is very easy to install on pegboard it just hooks on like a pegboard hook, and on other surfaces, it includes wall anchors and screws to attach it. It seems like it will hold more weight than stated, the wrenches (in the pictures)are out on the end are very heavy and the tool holder did not give any. I plan to buy several more to go over my other workbenches. For the low price, you can't go wrong.
I have a 4' x 8' pegboard on the wall of my shop. Works great, but there are two issues. First, I am about out of space for anymore hooks. Second, frequently used smaller tools more or less disappear on the pegboard. This multi-tool holder is a good solution to help with both issues. The Hyper Tough multi-tool holder comes with some additional screws to use for mounting directly to a wall. I also noticed that there are Hyper Tough pegboard sheets available. I may have to mount my tool holder to the wall or try to locate some of Hyper Tough's metal pegboard, as my multi-tool holder isn't compatible with my current pegboard. Other than that, the actual tool holder is great. I am considering a second one to hang all my smaller tools in one compact easy access spot. I just need to sort out the actual mounting method.
It seems as if it would be a handy item. I couldn't get it to fit either of my pegboards. It can be mounted to the wall so at some point I will do that. For its small size, 6" x 11", it has a lot of openings and will clearly hold quite a few tools. I hope to get it installed soon so I can get some of the screwdrivers, at least, organized. It has some openings that I have no idea what they are for but I'm sure I can find something that will fit in them. I would recommend this to friends who are handy and can make it work if it won't fit the pegboard.
It took a little while to get this tool board to fit into my pegs without lifting up. It might have to settle for a little while. Will hold plenty of tools conveniently. Hidden by the screwdrivers are pliers. This is my initial reaction of installing the unit, I would possibly add another star after seeing how it holds up in a few weeks. The unit is tough enough, not settling into the pegs gives me pause. My peg board is aged, but I don't think that should matter too much.
