Carry this (and the 3/8 to 1/4 adapter) in my tote of more compact impact wrenches and power ratchets. Keep another brand in my garage tool storage with heavier duty impacts. This Hyper Tough is nearly an ounce lighter than the other 1/2 adapter and the collet release is much smoother.

Great fit
fits perfect on a half inch impact it's durable and for the price you can't beat it I'll definitely recommend it no I don't have to have two tools while I'm working on two completely different jobs

I wish it was magnetic.
It works exactly as you'd figure, EXCEPT: There is nothing magnetic about it - so I was overall disappointed, but still glad to have it. Any 1/4 hex bits you slide into it, will slide right back out. It's useful in a pinch, only.
