I like everything... I presently live in a senior living facility. When I moved, I left my workshop behind. This does not mean I can't work on small wood projects. I have the wood cut to size at Lowe's, then assemble the parts at home. Walla... I get "r" done.

This is a 12 inch ratcheting bar clamp & spreader, the bar is metal and the body is a very hard plastic. Fells like it would last for years and years for the typical do it yourselfer. Great for home projects and much less than compatible tools. I would highly recommend this product

This Hyper Tough 12-Inch Ratcheting Bar Clamp and Spreader is so easy to use, easily adjusts to the length you need, and then easily clamps tight. A simple press of the trigger and it extends. Put your item to be clamped in between the red pads. The red handle locks the length in place. Until I saw this one, I never knew this type of clamp existed! I have had to throw out so many picture frames because the glue came undone in the corners. Today, I re-glued one and used my new bar clamp It was perfect to hold the wood in place and maintained a tight fit at the corner. I can see many uses for this clamp as I am always repairing something. I certainly wish I had it when I had to wood glue a stool base that I broke. I now have this clamp added to my toolbox. I am a do it yourself woman and find I never have the right tools for a job. I am sure there are some men who do not even know they need this tool! It would make a great gift for your son, husband, or wife! Men always say they can never have too many tools!

All of us "do it yourself" people do odd jobs where we need to hold something in place for a length of time but need help doing it. I have only owned the Hyper Tough 12-Inch Bar Clamp for a short time, but have already used it to hold cabinet door frames in place during construction and recently used it to repair a pair of my hiking boots. The sole on my hiking boot had become separated from the foot bed making them unusable. I purchased some vinyl repair cement from Walmart, spread the sole and the foot bed apart, applied the cement to both the sole and the foot bed, then clamped them tight with the Bar Clamp. Drying time for the cement is 30 minutes and there is no way I could hold them in place with my hands for that long, but the Bar Clamp held them indefinitely, the glue held perfectly, and I hiked 4 miles in the boots after a couple of hours of dry time. Your tool set is not complete without this super handy item!

This clamp is made of good material and seems hard to damage. It's holding power is very good and it stays tight until finished. It's a great tool to have andI highly recommended this to be a part of any tool kit for serious minded DIY. I give it 5 stars

I bought these wood clamps for working on wood and they lasted a couple minutes and broke they are very junk and customer service would not help me with a refund so I would definitely not recommend this product or seller

For a “Hyper Tough” product, it didn't last a single season of use!!! Already broken!!! Cheap product! %26 walmart WON'T REFUND!!!

First of all the pistol grips are oriented backwards to how I would have used them. Secondly the pistol grip broke on my first glue up. Very flimsy plastic. Doesnt take much pressure to break them
