This hyper tough blower is the reason why I bought the other 12v drills. I was so impressed by it I was like, let me try their brushless drills. I bought one at a time. And each one out performed my 12v Hercules. I was blown away that these Hyper Tough power tools are half the cost of my Hercules. I made the safe decision to switch. And my 4 year old Hercules which I loved them are retiring. Hyper Tough stepped up thier game big time!
I've been using this Hyper Tough 12v blower to clean out the clutch housing on my KRX SXS, and it's been surprisingly handy. Instead of dragging out an air hose and turning the compressor on every time, I can grab this pop the cover off, and blow out the dust, belt and debris, and dirt in a few minutes. The compact size makes it easy to get into tight spots around the clutch and suspension, and it's has enough power for routine maintenance. It's lightweight, rechargeable, and convenient to keep in the garage or even take on rides with me. This is a very useful tool to have for the price and has saved me time and made clutch cleaning a lot easier.
What an incredible find! For the price and what you receive this tool is such an amazing value. I've previously seen reviews of similar tools and was excited to see this added to the Hyper Tough line. The tool itself is well built and does not feel cheap at all. It functions well and is easy to operate. This is my 3rd purchase from the 12V line and each tool has been exactly as it is advertised. I use particularly use this tool for quick clean ups and some maintenance on fans. It blows the dust out of most things easily. I highly recommend this to anyone who needs something quick and efficient.
tl;dr section: It packs quite a punch to the point that it can function as a mini leaf blower. There is a noticeable delay with the trigger which is a little annoying. For best performance, pair it with the 6 Ah battery (if you need the extra performance and runtime.) This little blower does pack quite a punch. It did a good job when it came to blowing dust out of my desktop computer. It blows so well, that it can even clear off the sand and leaves from my porch., acting as a mini leaf blower. I found that rinsing the removable filter screen and letting it dry to be an easy way to clean it. I like the fact the included battery can be recharged via USB-C. One minor annoyance is there there's about a half second delay between pressing the trigger and the motor starting up. I would have also liked for them to have included a 2 Ah battery instead of the 1.5 Ah battery. This blower is one of those high drain tools that benefits from larger battery packs (4Ah and 6Ah) that have two sets of battery cells in parallel that allows for a much higher discharge current, meaning better performance in addition to longer runtime. The only issue is that currently the 4 Ah and 6 Ah cost around as much or more than this blower, so if you're like me and just uses the blower in fairly short bursts, it's likely not worth shelling out the additional cash. If you're planning to use it for extended periods, the additional cost makes more sense. As a side note, when running at the max speed setting, the top charge LED indicator disappears in a minute or so of runtime with a fully charged battery (at least when using the included 1.5 Ah battery.) This doesn't mean the battery lost close to a third of its charge in a very short time period, but rather likely due to the voltage sagging a bit due to the high current draw of the blower.
this is exactly what I was looking for, compact easy to handle, nice off and on button with light indicators for blow level, as described and perfect value, awesome little tool with lots of power for anything that needs some quick dusting or debris in driveway, low noise level that's what I like and highly recommend this awesome Hyper Tough Blower
This hyper tough blower ROCKS! Love the power that this thing puts out, very handy to have around and use. Beats the compress air cans that I use to blow off my laptops and desktops, love the way it charges as you just plug it into a micro USB C charger which I have a bunch laying around the house. Highly recommend this blower.
Great little blower. I got it for two reasons...it worked for both. %231 To blow the copious amounts of HUSKY FUR from one side of my house to a central pile. It works perfectly. %232 To blow off my mower deck on my riding mower. Wet mud it has difficulty with. I'll probably try it before I shammy my car. *I take pride in my reviews. I'm a nobody, but I give my unbiased, honest opinions. Thank you for reading!*
This Hyper Tough 12V blower works well and seems to be made well. It is surprisingly powerful for its size and blows air effectively, making it a great addition to the garage for quick cleanup tasks. It does make a little noise, but that is expected. You can get a better look at the tool and its build quality in the photos I've attached to this review.
The blower is, in short, a great value and good tool. I'm glad to have it: Pros: - 3 power settings, ranging up to genuinely powerful and down to something I'm comfortable blowing dust from a computer case with - Proportional trigger allows fine-tuning power at any of the power levels, overall good range and consistent. - usb-c charging for new 12v batteries is great and I was still able to just pop it out for a 4ah I had from prior gen and pop this one into high speed dock-style charger already on bench - Insanely reasonable for what you get Cons: - it screams (high pitched whine, my poor dog) - It takes a good while to spin up the motor, so variable trigger is more difficult to use as there's an initial range that has no effect and it can be hard to tell if you got past it with the delay. (If you need gentle, it's worth pushing it to lowest power level to ensure you don't overstep on other end as a result too.) - There's a pronounced vertical ridge at the font center of hand grip. While not terrible, when combined with the girth of these 12v grips for hyper tough in general, it's less comfortable than other tools in the line up like the impact wrench which are rounder at front.
Definitely not putting out nowhere close to 180mph more like 60mph. Construction is good and feels like a 12v power tool. But it's more of a small electronics duster. You can definitely find a more powerful blower for cheaper or real close to this price point.
