Hyper Tough 2-Piece 9mm and 18mm Snap-Blade Knife Set

i have several of these for different areas in my house. they are affordable and do an excellent job of cutting anything from boxes to stems and when it gets dull just break off to the next blade. Definitely be purchasing again.

Nice and sharp. Adjustable to many lengths and when the exposed blade gets dull, simply and carefully break off the tip at the mark and you have a fresh blade. Two sizes make these extra handy.

The tiny blade is super sharp. I use in the kitchen to quickly slice open plastic bags instead of scissors. Makes my full size utility knife seem like a butter knife.

I dropped and broke my last one that was over 15 years old. Had to replace it with the same Hyper Tough kind!

I am a portrait artist that works in soft pastels. I use these snap blade knives to sharpen my soft pastels—specifically my soft pastel pencils. You cannot put soft pastel pencils in a conventional pencil sharpener since the core is a soft, chalk-like substance and not traditional graphite. The knives work fine for sharpening the wooden casing around the pastel cores. I did not give it a perfect score because the blades are not as sharp as some other brands and, in my opinion, dull a little quickly causing breaks in the pencils and cores. The other reason I did not give a perfect rating is because there are no replacement blades available for purchase through Walmart. I would prefer to purchase new blades instead of having to purchase new knives every time the blades are used up. I like the extender lock feature that keeps the blade extended to the right length and prevents it from collapsing. I like that the 2-pack comes with knives of different sizes. The knives do get the job done and I will continue to purchase the. in spite of the blade quality and/or lack of refills.

This little set of cutters are exactly what I needed without a lot of extra bulk that I don't. The blades are sharp, cut clean, and are easy to snap. Can't really beat the value on this one if you're just needing a basic cutter.

The 9mm tight fit caused the blade to pop loose, and the remaining blades were jammed inside. I haven't tried the 18 mm yet.
