Hyper Tough 2-Step Steel Foldable Step Stool with Large Platform, Gray & Black, 225 lb Capacity

I had planned to acquire a badly needed replacment for similar that was over 30 years old. My plan was to go with used from GW or StV's i keeping with a low carbon footprint. Then there was this one. Under $20, Solid and built like a brick ...houwwz. It hold my extra fluffy just fine. I do believe it will outlive me.

I ordered this as an additional stepstool for our house bc I'm not fond of taking stepstools or ladders up and down stairs, and it works great so far for what I need. Easy to use, self explanatory, and folds up to limit the footprint needed to store.

The step ladder is light weight for its size, it unfolds easily and doesn't take up much room. It is super strong and sturdy to step on without wobbling, I feel safe and comfortable to stand on. It’s a perfect size for me to use to reach things in my walk-in closet or kitchen pantry. Very happy with this purchase.

this thing's nice and compact, I'm 5'7 and 170 and it supports me. Its got enough room to stand. Its tall enough for what I need. I do feel the steps flex when I stand on them, but its sturdy enough for me. If youre much heavier or larger, you might want to consider something else. If your my size or below, this little thing will work. Folds up small enough to be tucked away just about anywhere too! Had it a couple months, and use it regular. Still seems to be brand new.

Great little stool. So handy and strong!

Sturdy step ladder. I will need to purchase another. Barrowed by my wife barrowed and will not return!

This is a well-made stool and my only complaint is that although there are rubber boots on the legs to contact the floor, the actual stair treads are just painted ribbed metal. This is OK if you're wearing dry and non-slip soled shoes, but not everyone using this stool in a household environment is going to, and potential for slipping exists. It would be nice to have a layer of non-skid material on the steps.

It seems sturdy, but the top step is too small to sit on. My old one doubled as a chair, while this one doesn't. This was the only seat in my small kitchen, so I'm frustrated. I keep it folded by the fridge most of the time, but sometimes I want to sit on it.

It is sturdy enough but like the other reviewers mentioned it is too steep. The top step overlaps the bottom too much so it is tricky to get on and off. Other step stools I have used had much wider steps with better spacing and they felt safer.

The rail is kind of directly over the step so you can’t really even get your full foot all the way on since it stops on my shins. Doesn’t feel very safe because of that. Whoever designed this needs to do better.
