“STANDARD” HAMMER IS 16 OZ
I purchased this hammer as advertised and it is as good as its description. It's a great 20 oz hammer. That said, I didn't realize that the “standard” hammer weight is 16 oz. It's a bit heavier but for big jobs and people with a little more muscle than I, it's a smidge heavy. If you're looking to buy a hammer for general use, this company's product is great but you need to look for a 16 oz hammer.

Well-made, heavy duty hammer
I was taught years ago about the difference a good hammer could make. This hammer is a well-balanced, heavy duty GOOD hammer with a great handle grip. This type of hammer is a must have to get any nailing job completed with the least amount of labor....one hit goes a long way! If you can only have/store one hammer, this is the one to keep.

Great quality for the price. We used to pound stakes into the ground. Had a great grip on the handle. Very balanced.

This hammer sucks, the head of the hammer is not flat so it slips off the nails. You get what you pay for. Don't get this!!
