very happy with this saw. Plenty of power. More power then both my Dewalts. The entire saw w/battery Costs 64% less then one of my DeWalt batteries and gave me almost 3 times the work load yesterday. Im impressed. Infact, if you sit this next to the Dewalt, other then the color? These saws come frome the "THE SAME MANUFACTURER." 🤫hint, hint🤫
like most power tools that require a lot of energy I felt the basic battery that came with the skill saw would be poor and performance boy was I mistaken I love the fact that this tool did not let me down. it has the same size and just a little more ants than my leaf blower and I was blown away obviously if you overwork it the battery won't last as long bought for everyday use and even if you have to use it a little bit ruggedly it's the tool for you and in fact I was pleased to find out I also bought a hyper tough vacuum cleaner which will and does hook to the exit of the saw so I don't get sawdust all over it goes straight into the vacuum cleaner man am I amazed.
I HAD SEEN IT IN STORE SEVERAL TIME'S. I NEEDED ONE, YET KEPT PUTTING IT OFF. I HAVE SEVERAL PROJECTS ALREADY FROM THIS BRAND AND NO COMPLAINS AT ALL. I'VE BOUGHT BEFORE OTHER NAME BRAND PRODUCTS, VERY WELL KNOWN ONCE, BUT NOTHING COMPARES. TO THE QUALITY AS WELL PRICE, GETTING SAME BENEFITS, NOW I ONLY GET THIS BRAND. IT HAS ME, FROM FIRST PURCHASE WHICH WAS A DRILLING SET. I NOW, HAVE CHANGED ALL MY CARPENTRY AS WELL AS LAWN TOOLS, TO HYPER TOUGH. ALL ARE CORDLESS, SAVE ON TIME AND MONEY VERY WELL SPENT. MINE YOU, I'VE HAD VERY WELL KNOWN BRANDS, PAID HIGH PRICES ON THEM, AND HAD TO RETURN THEM WITH ONE ISSUE OR ANOTHER. NOT THIS PRODUCTS, I'VE YET TO RETURN ANY HYPER TOUGH PRODUCT, VERY IMPRESSIVE.
seem to work well with small to medium jobs the blade that comes with it is ok did a few cuts an rips cuts to check it out safty features are a plus shuts down quickly highly recommend this product saves time not having to lug around cords an power supply 👍
yes for working with out power just make sure you have a few battery packs for it goes threw them does get stuck every so often but that is mainly if your cut gets un straight it will get a lot of extra friction and stop the blade or if the blade stops in wood back it up and check the battery for it has some issues when it gets to one bar
Better than expected!! This thing cuts through a 2x4 like its cutting through paper. I have bought Hyper Tough tools in the past and they are the best kept secret in tools. I can't believe how light this saw is and so easy to operate. I will buy this brand again!!
This circular saw is lightweight and the battery charges quickly. It does the job and seems to stay powered for a while. I thought the price was a bit high.
for price its jard to beat.. thin panels or boards cut no problem, cedar fence too. if you try to cut hard words, thinker plywood or even think pine it will freeze up...just doesn't have the power. but its great for smaller jobs
Cuts straight and fairly quiet, but it lacks power for sure. I couldn't even cut through a 2x8 treated board without it stopping 3 times. Maybe a bigger battery would do better, but at that point it would be up there in price with much better brands. Also the handle grip is not comfortable and the seam is hard and sharp on your fingers. It does look good and is lightweight, but the 2.0ah battery takes 4-5 hours to charge on the included charger. And I've switched to the new hyper tough 12v brushless power drills and those are top notch, but some of these older 20v brushless power tools are not worth it. So far the 12v brushless tools are worth buying and keeping. I don't recommend this circular saw unless you're cutting thin stuff..
I am trying to figure out how to return it. It was too costly to just toss. Plastic, hard to put together, never got it to work safely. Could not secure the blade.
