I am an auto technician and I use power tools all the time I found this on the website and gave it a try The quality is very good and the power of the tool is excellent very happy with my purchase price was good quality is great delivery was very fast same day Will be buying a few more lol
I liked the price for what I needed to do. change out a busted right cv axle. came fully charged, and I might have used up a bar on the battery. it's the only one I've ever used. pretty heavy. took 2 pulls of the trigger and the axle nut was loose, as well as any of the others I used it on.
This thing rocks. Made doing suspension work on my car so much easier. Took off axle nuts held in place by 15 years of rust without flinching, and only dropped down 1 bar of battery life throughout the whole job. A big impact like this is practically a necessity for doing suspension work. Makes the whole process so much easier.
Overall, I find it to be very good. It's heavy than I thought it would be but the only issue I actually have with it is when I got it the indicator for the battery on the front to tell you what the battery level is at does not work other than that good product I would definitely recommend it.
Great impact especially at the price. I am blown away by the performance as cheap as this impact is. I'm an auto mechanic and mostly use air tools but the electric high torque is great when you need it. This has taken out large chassis bolts and brake caliper bracket bolts without failing
Needed power to remove lug nuts that was tightened with pneumatic wench after getting new tires. This was exactly the tool I needed to replace my brake pads. The power on this thing is amazing. After putting my weight on a lug wrench, I could not get lugs loose. The tool did it on first squeeze.
I'm VERY PLEASED I HAD SOME LUGS O MY TRUCK MY KNOCK OFF EBAY DRILL WOULDNT TOUCH I LOADED UP THE HYPER TOUGH STRAIGHT OUT THE BOX SHE DID THE JOB 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿 for the price I'm sold thank u Walmart I use my other one for my mowers it's good for them
This is a good value, particularly if you already have a good set of impact sockets. If you don't have a set of sockets, make sure to get one before you start your project. I've been using it for a couple months now for car maintenance and have been happy with the total torque and battery life. The only thing I would like to see improved is how long it takes to get to its top end torque, but I think it is a fair tradeoff for the price point.
To put this lightly... the high torque absolutely destroys the mid torque. I had a mid because they were out of highs and I needed something. But man oh man when they had them in stock again I absolutely got one as quick as possible and I haven't had a singled regret. The battery charges really fast with the included charger, I used it to help me take apart an entire engine to change the head gaskets and the ONLY thing I had issue with was the actual head bolts themselves. They needed a 1/2" breaker bar with a cheater. And the whole gasket swap was done on 1 fully charged battery. its never had an issue with tires or anything else other than that. Exhaust, front end components, suspension. None of it could stand up to this ONE HUNDRED DOLLAR impact. Plenty of rust on some of those suspension parts and this couldn't even tell. The motor is brushless and the whole thing is mechanically sound in my opinion. If youre not paying attention and using it on high, you'll notice it in your wrist if you're looking for an amazing impact for the cheapest on the market price, congrats. You've found it. Its not Milwaukee or DeWalt but it'll get the job done for 1/3 or even 1/8 of the price of the big names. Seriously im very impressed with this one walmart. Keep up the good work!
I have a few products from Hyper Tough that have worked fine. Last product I bought is this 1/2 impact wrench in may 2025, 5 months later the battery is bad, it's not charging. I tried to get a replacement at Walmart which is 30 minutes away and was told I needed to contact Hyper Tough because it's been more than 90 days. Isn't Hyper Tough an only Walmart brand, why not just give me a battery replacement?! It's a 3 year warranty item. Anyways I googled Hyper Tough and couldn't find an email or phone number to reach them. Good thing I saved the box. I found the warranty manual with a phone number. And it's a phone to Walmart customer service, the Walmart rep said I qualify for a replacement and I was given a confirmation number for Hyper Tough to give me a free battery. To just give Hyper Tough my confirmation number, that's all they would need she said. The rep gave me a number for Hyper Tough which really is a company called Great Star. I called Great Star and it just send you right to voicemail. I left a message. They called me back 6 hours later but since I was at work I missed it. The voicemail the lady left said I need to reach them through email to make a claim. But I thought Walmart said I already had a claim confirmation number??! I called but again I was sent to voicemail and they didn't call me back. I was able to get their email from the voicemail. I contacted them with my info, confirmation number Walmart gave me, description of my issue and picture of my defective battery. They replied to me saying they needed my INFO and a VIDEO of the defective battery ughh. I like Hyper Tough products but if you get a defective one it will suck getting a replacement.
