Hyper Tough 20V MAX Cordless 13-inch String Trimmer, HT21-401-003-03

i just tried my new trimmer out and this is so great. it is super easy to put together, just attach the bottom guard and the upper handle. this has good power and is light weight which is a big plus!! my gas trimmer is so heavy, and this is a breeze to use. i was able to do the whole front yard in just one use without getting tired of holding it :) it has a wheel on the guard plate so when you turn this sideways it works well for your trimming along the driveway or near flower beds. my battery was fully charged when i got it so i was able to use it right away too. i love this and now i dont have to fight my husband to do all the yard work i can too lol best part is i dont have to worry if i have gas to do it

I love this cordless trimmer. It was very easy to set up. I couldn't use my gas operated trimmer as it was too heavy. This cordless trimmer allows me to do all the trimming myself. It's light weight. The best part is the adjustable height. It's great for short people, like myself. It works absolutely great. And it's easy to use and does what it should do.

The Hyper Tough Cordless String Trimmer is very powerful and very versatile. It's capable of keeping your lawn trimmed and edged. Since receiving it, I've been out in my yard working daily when the weather permits. It's cordless and comes with a 20.V Max Lithium Battery. After each use I replace the battery, and charge it. That way, it will always be ready to use.

I highly recommend this cordless trimmer! It is exactly what I was looking for to trim up my yard! It was super easy to put together, and it works very well! Very easy to use, and very quick to tidy up my yard! It's easy to pull out more trimming string, you just press the button and it feeds through. Super easy! I love the adjustability as well, it's very user-friendly! It's great for my height, 5 foot 4, as well as someone taller, as it's adjustable. I even love the color! I can tell that it's very high-quality, and will last me a long time!

we have a lot of Hyper Tough items and they've all been great. When I opened this trimmer and started putting it together I realized there was no cover for the string. Rather than haul it to Walmart I got online and ordered the cover from Amazon. Couldn't find it on Walmart's website.

Review of Hyper Tough weedeater This weedeater replaces my old electric weedeater that required an extension cord. For that reason alone it is a huge improvement for me because I don't have to lug an extension cord around. The battery for this lasts long enough for me to weedeat everything in my yard that I need to. The angle of the handle part is adjustable. The angle of the bottom part is also adjustable. (I included pictures showing how much the bottom part adjusts). It is not too heavy to use. I will say that for me it is somewhat awkward to carry around when not in use, when moving from one spot to another in you yard. But this is not a huge deal. I have not replaced the line yet, so I don't know how easy that is to replace or how easy it is to find in store. The line is auto feed, it says NOT to bump feed. Overall four out of five stars

I first used the Hyper Tough String Trimmer on some dead flower beds and trimmed down the plants with much success. It's great to have something that is not too heavy to hold and use. I like the string feed that worked well too! Read the directions for proper use to fully understand how not to get frustrated how to auto-feed the string. I was surprised to see the edging results. At first, the thick St. Augustine grass left some edges with some grass stuck in the edge, but already by the second use it was getting better. In order to have a more accurate review I used the trimmer for a few weeks, especially having the wait for the winter to pass and grass to grow. My reason for the 4 stars is because I had an industrial edger and nothing compares to that but for a battery powered trimmer I am very pleased with the quality of the machine as well as the look of my yard. Easy to use and I recommend it!

Have been unable to use due to weather but did test battery for charge/power and is very powerful. Excited to try when ground is dry enough. Was easy to put today and being a short person is perfect size for me. If instructions confuse just look at picture on box and will guide you right through the assembly.

Came home and was happy to be able to use this Hyper Tough Trimmer in minutes after opening. The battery came fully charged and the 'set up' was a snap. I had forgotten how useful a trimmer is, and was wiping out random weeds in no time. My only issue is with the charger...After using, I placed the battery in the charger and came back in about an hour to see the light on solid green. Nice, I thought. I took it out oft the charger and put it all away until the weekend. After replacing the battery and preparing to get to work, the trimmer would not start. Hmm. Pretty simple installation. Took it out and replaced. Still nothing. Checked the head to be sure nothing was tangled and still nothing. Placed the battery back into the charger and it was solid green. Decided to leave it in anyway. After leaving it in the charger all night, I checked it again the next day and all was good. Obviously a malfunctioning charging light. Other than that, I would recommend it for light to medium use. It seems a bit heavier than other comparable cordless trimmers, but not too bad. A strap might be a nice addition. I really like the string advance button. It makes it easy to adjust the line. The string head is a bit tricky to release, but comes off when you figure it out. Great adjustments for height, etc. The cutting time seems to last quite awhile, depending on what you are cutting. Good trimmer.

stopped working second one if this brand that stopped working since april 2025
