This Hyper Tough Brand, 22-Piece 1/2-Inch Drive Ratchet and Deep Socket Set, SAE and Metric is fabulous. I have been looking for one of these long deep socket sets for ages before I found this one. These sets are hard to come by. I was ecstatic when I finally found this set. It has 18 different size sockets. The sizes are 13mm, 14mm, 16mm, 17mm, 19mm, 21mm, 22mm, 24mm, 25mm, 1/2in, 9/16, 5/8, 11/16, 3/4, 13/16, 7/8, 15/16, and 1inch. You can do all types of work with these tools. The length is perfect for auto repairs. Each side of the packaging has it's own built in socket holders, so no more lost sockets. This thing holds on to them for dear life. You literally gonna use some elbow grease to get each socket off, so I fill that this set is definitely worth it, to be able to keep all of your sockets in one place. I would definitely recommend this Hyper Tough 22-Piece 1/2-Inch Drive Ratchet and Deep Socket Set to anyone young and old. So if you, like me, are in the market for a high quality ratchet and deep socket set, then look no further. This is the set for you. These are wonderful. I have many sockets and these are deepest Deep Sockets I have found. As the socket sizes go from large to smaller the depth remains the same. This is a great set that I will get a lot of use from. I also like that the SAE and Metric have color stripes to help find the right socket in the cabinet plus the display package can be used as a storage system. Very happy with these.

This ratchet set gets the job done. It has nice, deep 6 point sockets with a heavy duty 1/2 inch drive ratchet. It has both SAE (1/2, 9/16, 5/8, 11/16, 3/4, 13/16, 7/8. 5/16, 1") & Metric (13, 14, 16, 17, 19, 21, 22, 24, 25mm) sockets. Plus the ratchet has a smooth transition from foreword to reverse.

The 1/2" 22 piece set is well made and has an excellent chrome finish. The ratchet has 72 teeth so working with the superior 6 point sockets is no big deal. They also include a 3" extension with a grip shaft. There are 9 sockets of metric and 9 SAE with a standard thickness wall. The max depth for a nut is 1 7/16" deep, and there is a 1/2" hole all the way through the socket. And the sockets are all 3" long. The ratchet is 9 5/8" long and the head is 1 9/16 wide.

This set is awesome because it has large sockets not found in most similarly priced 1/2” sets. This set has a 25mm socket which is a must have if you want to change your own oil and you drive a Dodge, Jeep, or Chrysler with a 3.6L V6 engine. The oil filter is housed in a canister that requires a 25mm socket to open. It's a must have and it's hard to find.

What a great set!. I love that it's both SAE and Metric so I can do all of my projects with ease. The sockets are color coded and stamped with size for easy identification. Sizes include: 13, 14, 16, 17, 19, 21, 22, 24 and 25 mm and 1/2-inch, 9/16-inch, 5/8-inch, 11/16-inch, 3/4-inch, 13/16-inch, 7/8-inch, 15/16-inch and 1-inch. Storage and organization is so easy with the removable color coded storage holder. It is backed by a limited lifetime warranty which is a plus for me. This set is for all my hard to reach projects. It even comes with an extension! How great is that.

This the best deep half inch socket and wrench set on the market comparable to Craftsman's tool sets. I love the way the pinch and release mechanism it has for easy access to the preferred socket that's needed and it has a well constructed half inch ratchet that comes with it. This hyper tough 22 piece 1/2 in drive and ratchet deep socket set would be perfect for the do-it-yourselfers and professional mechanics. I recommend this for any person that's into mechanic work especially. I can't wait to take something apart and put it back together with these tools.

The Hyper Tough 22-Piece 1/2-inch Drive Ratchet and Deep Socket Set, SAE and Metric tool set is an impressive one. A smooth ratchet, short extension and 18 6-point deep sockets comprise the tools, with the removable socket rails as the other 2 pieces. The plastic removable rails are pretty neat, a great idea to have them remove from the packaging for use in a tool box, etc. The rails are a bit cumbersome, but work well. The appearance is top notch, with a beautiful chrome finish. The ratchet feels good in the hands. I have noticed that the Hyper Tough socket sets look an awful lot like the store brand at the local big box home improvement store. The sockets and pieces seem to be the same manufacture. I did not find this same set on the home improvement store's website, but It appears that the Hyper Tough line would save some money, with a very similar, if not same, level of quality. I tried the ratchet with several makes of sockets and found that most sockets will latch to the ratchet. Any one that I tried with a detent hole locked in great. Most sockets with the indent type detent work as well, but the placement of the indent on some sockets are located differently, and won't latch. The sockets that come with the set lock in, but do have some slack, or play, between the ratchet head and the socket base when snapped together. This, I think, would not be problematic, but seems a bit annoying. Other than that, the only gripe I have is that the metric selection of sockets skips 15mm, which is one of the most popular sizes. You get a 13mm and a 16mm, which are sizes rarely used. The standard sizes skip nothing between 1/2" and 1". I wonder sometimes how the metric sizes are selected for sets. For once I would like to see a set include ALL the popular sizes for metrics. I used the ratchet and the 13/16" socket to break loose and remove lug nuts on my trailer wheel. The lugs were no match for the 1/2" ratchet. The ratchet action is very smooth with 72 teeth for fine movement. This socket set would be great for a home shop or garage. A nice 1/2" starter set that should last for years if cared for. I guess once again, time will tell.
