Great set. Works as intended.
Great product, Super strong and reliable Great price Highly recommend
These are wonderful. I have many sockets and these are deepest Deep Sockets I have found. As the socket sizes go from large to smaller the depth remains the same. This is a great set that I will get a lot of use from. I also like that the SAE and Metric have color stripes to help find the right socket in the cabinet plus the display package can be used as a storage system. Very happy with these.
What a great set!. I love that it's both SAE and Metric so I can do all of my projects with ease. The sockets are color coded and stamped with size for easy identification. Sizes include: 13, 14, 16, 17, 19, 21, 22, 24 and 25 mm and 1/2-inch, 9/16-inch, 5/8-inch, 11/16-inch, 3/4-inch, 13/16-inch, 7/8-inch, 15/16-inch and 1-inch. Storage and organization is so easy with the removable color coded storage holder. It is backed by a limited lifetime warranty which is a plus for me. This set is for all my hard to reach projects. It even comes with an extension! How great is that.
This Hyper Tough half inch drive deep well socket set and ratchet is awesome, it has both SAE size sockets 1/2 inch to 1 inch deep well and metric 13mm to 25mm deep well sockets, and a 1/2 drive ratchet and a small 3 inch extension . The sockets come on a holder that is color coded red for standard and blue for metric, the sockets are color coded to match the holder with a colored ring around them. Also the sockets are all 6 point which greatly decreases the chance of stripping a nut or bolt, most sockets are 12 point and slip and strip a nut or bolt easily. Overall this is a heavy duty well made organized socket set and I highly recommend it.
Tools are a must have. As a homeowner I'm running into situations all the time where I'm missing the exact tool that I need. It's best to have it than be without it. It's my strong opinion that you cannot have enough sockets laying around. I recently bought a golf cart and was needing a deep socket which I did not have and it was aggravating. Now with this set I'm ready to roll. No tool room is complete without a deep 1/2 drive socket set. These are great if not better than the more expensive brand. Tough as can be. I've put some good torque behind these sockets and they never broke or cracked. SAE and metric means you'll have the right fit every time. Nice convenient holder can be hung on the wall. I like this set and believe it belongs in every tool room.
My husband likes this set; it is a handy addition to his tool collection. He did struggle a little with i packaging. The sockets are long enough to reach deeper set nuts and bolts. The pieces feel well-made. It functioned well when he was working on the car last week. My husband's old set came in a carrying case, and that is a nice feature that this set lacks. Overall, I would recommend this set.
The deep well six point sockets are thick enough to withstand abuse yet thin enough to fit in right places. This would be an excellent set to keep in your car for emergencies. I will get a set of extensions to complete the set. The detail to the engraving is a plus also. What really sold me on the set is the ratchet and how smooth it is. The large release button is easy to depress to release the sockets or extensions. I would compare it to the more expensive sets out there.
The 1/2" 22 piece set is well made and has an excellent chrome finish. The ratchet has 72 teeth so working with the superior 6 point sockets is no big deal. They also include a 3" extension with a grip shaft. There are 9 sockets of metric and 9 SAE with a standard thickness wall. The max depth for a nut is 1 7/16" deep, and there is a 1/2" hole all the way through the socket. And the sockets are all 3" long. The ratchet is 9 5/8" long and the head is 1 9/16 wide.
Here we have the Hyper Tough 22-Piece 1/2-inch Drive Ratchet and Deep Socket Set, SAE and Metric with a open face case. There a non-impact sockets so they can't be used with air tool. But there a great hand tool set. I really like the fact the sockets are color coded and stamped with size for easy identification. Red for SAE OR STANDARD size, and blue for Metric size. Metric 13, 14, 16, 17, 19, 21, 22, 24 and 25 mm and SAE 1/2-inch, 9/16-inch, 5/8-inch, 11/16-inch, 3/4-inch, 13/16-inch, 7/8-inch, 15/16-inch and 1-inch. The ratchet features a quick release socket button. It also comes with a three inch extension. So all that being said here are some things that I found that I didn't like. For one thing the Storage and organization is way to hard to use you must cut and pull out a retainer before you can get the sockets out of the holder, it's a pain in the butt. The other thing is the ratchet works great and feels smooth in reverse and holds in the teeth nicely but in the tightening or forward mode the teeth feel loose and slip, I'm sure if put on a nut to close to the maximum torque it may slip and damage the teeth and your hand if it slips! Now as far as the sizes go the problem is, there is no 15mm or 18mm they are skipped in this kit. Instead of the 14mm and 19mm can be exchanged with the SAE 9/16” and the 3/4” . So bottom line is the ratchet is a problem for me.
