Hyper Tough 24" Fluorescent Black Light, 17 Watts and 31" Mountable Fixture

I bought these for my daughters 16th birthday party and we loved them. As other review said there are no holes on the blacklight, because you don't screw it to the wall. It has mounts that connect to the wall and you put the blacklight into those mounts. they are very well constructed. Very happy with them.

Holy Smoke-a-rollie, this black light is LEGIT! So, i don’t think a lot of people know that a *real* Black Light? Isn’t supposed to be all that illuminating... they can seem downright dim, by white light standards. However- Black light is not white light, and you truly don’t want all that excess white light eeking into your environment, if you’re choosing a black light for effect. I attached pics to show what i got. Brand-spanking-new-in-the-box Blacklight that casts its lovely darkness all the way across my room, fluoresce-ing *everything* in its path. Do yourself a favor and try this black light. It’s kick butt. And remember, if you think it’s dim? Thats a good thing, for Black Lights! It’s BLACK LIGHT, not white- look it up for fun!

I was really expecting the old school type light. But I read the reviews and decided this still would work for my needs. The reviews really are a great guide to relate to the product and my needs for the product!

We purchased these to use in our doorway last Halloween. Anyone with white or certain color costumes really popped. I'll be purchasing a second one soon for this year.

This is exactly what you want in a blacklight if your goal is maximum color. Yes, these aren't as bright to the naked eye as some other lights, especially LEDs. This is a good thing if you want the fluorescent colors to pop. I've tested 6 different types and these are the best if you want a dark room that glow in the dark vibe on items/clothing etc.

Lights are great, suprised they worked for the condition they came in. One was missing parts so had to wire the light up. Not as bright as my other name brand black lights. Cords are very long.

I purchased 2 of these… the first one I opened wasn’t very bright but I figured that was just the type of light it was until I opened the other. It’s as bright as I expect a black light to be. Buyer beware, you may get a defective light. I’m hoping it’s only the bulb. The good thing I like about this light is it comes with a neat way to mount the light to a wall in case you want to use it to showcase a poster or something on a shelf.

I like design of the lamp where it has Both sides open to light on both sides BUT The Lightbulbs are NOT bright enough to even light the posters. I even tried placing 1 in the middle between 2 posters thinking if it was going down the side of them Maybe it would light it better but it only lit that portion of them sadly and if place at top or bottom it gave a fading glow affect. i was trying to do my walls in a room filled with posters and I would of had to place them each just a few feet apart in length And Width to get it to give the good blacklight affect. I decided not to keep since I would literally have to buy and plug in 3 on Each wall Just for this corner area of my room. I am hoping to figure out a better Brighter way to illuminate my posters.
