Great cabinet - used it as a microwave cart - the first two drawers' rails were slightly bent %26 missing ball bearings - Walmart gave me $25 on my account and authorized a pickup - in hindsight I should have called the number in the box to hyper tough as we had assembled the cabinet just needed the two drawers so far we like it ! We put the grandkids dishes spoons %26 cups in the bottom drawer for them to access themselves !
The three drawers glide smoothly, even when fully loaded with heavier tools, which is a big plus. I particularly appreciate the locking feature, which keeps my tools secure when I'm not using them. The rolling design is a game-changer—I can easily move it around the garage or out to the driveway when I'm working on a project. The black finish gives it a sleek, professional look, and the overall construction feels solid and durable. Assembly was straightforward, and the included instructions were easy to follow.
I purchased two for my craft room. They were easy to assemble with the exception of the screws being slightly difficult to put in place. Otherwise they are sturdy and made from to last.
This is my second Hypertough purchase. They are light duty, but not flimsy. Reasonably robust design. This cabinet could have used separately labeled screw packs to make assembly easier. All the screws came in one bag and there is over 100 screws of 4 different types that need sorting out. If these came in lighter colors I would give it a five star review. Black is horrible for drawer cabinets. Drawer assembly was unique for packaging. I like the fold out design to minimize the bazillion fasteners. It took about 2 hours to assemble.
Be ready to assemble the product. For the price I had to pay I could have bought one from another store already assembled. It is a nice quality rolling chest.
None of the holes aligned when trying to assemble this unit. I was hoping that assembly would be as straight forward as some of the other hyper tough tool chests-I was seriously disappointed. It comes in numerous pieces, and on the first 2 pieces none of the screws would engage because the holes were off by about 1.5mm. So annoying.
The rolling tool cabinet pieces came in all scuffed, inside the box. The holes for assembly do not align, and some of the bolts provided do not fit into their designated locations per the instructions.
Our experience with this purchase was extremely frustrating. The parts didn't line up correctly. Fortunately we are mechanically inclined and had the tools to make modifications. Next time would pay to have assembled. This wasn't worth the time involved. Was way too heavy and bulky to return. Almost threw it away.
Who would have believed Walmart was trying to make Harbor Freight tools look like great quality! Harbor Freight would NEVER distain to sell such a rotting piece of steaming excrement! Check my youtube review to see the truth! I am VERY angry that Walmart sold me this junk! I wasted hours of my life putting this together just to return it. Among all the thin metal, cheap screws and computer case nuts and bolts, the bearing race cages are made of seemingly, LEAD! one just came ap[art and the bearings are rolling around the floor! I made my back hurt for NOTHING!!!
Tried two times. Screw holes didn't line up. Walmart was good about taking them back but 3hrs wasted. $10 more at home door and it was put together.
