This is a good quality cart. It was easy to assemble; all the parts were in the box and nothing was damaged. It's very sturdy. It looks bigger than I envisioned; I had measured my space for length and knew it would fit, but I didn't measure width. It's a perfect size though! This cart is the perfect caddy for my cutting macine! I keep the machine on top, the heat press on the middle shelf and all my vinyls in the bottom basket. The hanging rack holds my mats so they stay flat. The handle is wonderful for pushing or pulling the cart. I can wheel everything at once to the island where I work, and put it back so it's out of the way when I'm not using it. It glides easily on carpet and tile. I'm very satisfied with the quality of this cart! I can think of a lot of uses for it and now my husband wants one for the garage.
I ordered this as a base for my glass top oil paint palette. So far, it's been perfect. It saved me a couple days of building something custom. And, frankly it was probably cheaper. I simply glue gunned my large glass palette to the top posts. Now, I can roll around my studio with everything I need at arms length. No more running back and forth looking for this or that as I move to different pieces. I could see this working for all kinds of creative work/hobby for people. Some of the bad reviews said it fell apart and/or it wasn't sturdy. That is not the case for me. All of the parts and pieces were there. You need to take care and assemble it with some attention and light touch. Make sure you are soft mallet-ing it together and joints are secure. I greased the wheel bearings before assembly. I made sure everything was tight, level and square. I can see this cart outliving me. Bigger picture; I wish Walmart would indicate more clearly the country of manufacturing within their online purchase eco-system. I also wish I could find products like these Made in America.
My husband wanted an air fryer oven but we don't have a lot of counter space in our kitchen. This cart was a perfect fit for the air fryer and a couple more kitchen appliances! It fits in our pantry for storage. It was easy to assemble in the clear light of day...my husband couldn't sleep so he decided to start putting it together at 5 AM in relatively dim light. Things went much smoother and it was quickly and easily assembled a bit later that day! We are very happy with this purchase. Very sturdy and rolls smoothly. It's exactly what we needed! This is our second Hyper Tough product. Great quality!
THE GOOD: 1. Assembly was easy, following the sequential diagrams. 2. This cart appears to be strong and sturdy enough to support small kitchen appliances, pots, pans, canisters, etc. 3. The assembled cart is countertop height, making it ideal to extend short countertop workspace. 4. Commercial grade caster wheels! These aren't the cheap plastic wheels that are often found on household products. THE JUST OKAY: 1. The tapered compression clips that support the basket, shelves, handle and accessory hooks are plastic. They have an internal ridge that grabs a groove in the metal corner posts when compressed by the tapered holes in the shelves, basket and other attached parts. Durability is a question for when this plastic ages and possibly becomes brittle. The entire cart relies on these plastic parts to hold it together. 2. Although tools aren't needed to assemble this product, a rubber mallet or a small soda bottle filled with water would be helpful to knock down the corners and tighten the grip of the plastic clips. Don't strike the wire edges too hard, as they will bend. The metal isn't hardened. The wire is quite soft. THE (MAYBE) NOT SO GOOD: 1. The actual storage dimensions are smaller than stated. 24" X 15-3/4" are the actual size of the shelves. 2. The wire spacing on the shelves is 1-1/16" between wires. The standoff legs or feet on some small appliances may fall into these gaps, requiring a solid, flat item to set them on. A cutting board, large piece of tile or a metal baking sheet might be needed. 3. The zinc finish, although it looks like chrome, may be more likely to rust in damp spaces like bathrooms, laundry rooms, unheated sheds or outdoor spaces. A plastic clear coat paint might be advisable to protect the finish, for use in such areas. 4. These carts are household quality, not built for restaurant or commercial use. That said, they appear superior to many other household quality carts. Used gently, they should last longer than the five year warranty. 5. Don't overload the cart. The metal is strong, but only four plastic compression clips support the shelf weight. There are no bolts or screws holding the cart together.
This is a really easy to build and super handy. It’s versatile and could be used in the garage, bedroom or bathroom. I live in an apartment and have roommates so I use the cart to hold all my kitchen appliances and dish/cooking wares. Assembly was simple and required no tools. You just have these plastic pieces that wrap around the poles and you push the shelves over the plastic to secure them. I can roll the cart to any part of the room or walk it to the kitchen to do dishes. I’m glad I purchased this and would recommend them as an all purpose utility item for your living space
5 stars for the price to quality ratio. Not industrial strength, but appropriate for my needs for my Instant Pots. I can fit a 8qt Duo Crisp Air Fryer and a 6qt Vita to cook on the top shelf. Because the wire wiggles when they are empty, I will reinforce with a board before actually cooking. The construction otherwise seems sturdy. Meets my needs and fits the space I planned to put it. (Avaya 8cup rice cooker also in the picture.)
Don’t let anyone tell you that this cart is not heavy duty! It is every bit as good as the one at Lowe’s for $85. It goes together easily with a little thought. You can put the basket on any level, it doesn’t have to go on bottom and you can put the hooks on the same side as the handle. You can purchase additional parts too. I use it for all my heavy appliances, like my kitchenaid beater, nuwave cooker, slow cooker, power juicer, grill, and food processor... instead of keeping them on my counter tops. When I need them, I can just roll out the cart, get what I need and keep moving. Saves soooo much space, if you don’t have much!! Love it!! You won’t be disappointed.
Before unwrapping the pieces from the plastic, I could tell that there were some scratches and scuffs on the metal pieces. I was disappointed but needed the item so I continue to build it. Found more scuffs, scratches, and what looked like rust? Idk. I needed it so I kept it. But I wouldn't buy again and I caution you, review reader, on the quality. Sharing just a few photos of the damage for receipts.
I love this cart. It is actually the 3rd one that I have purchased in the last 3 months. Sadly, this one arrived damaged and must be returned. If it hadn’t been damaged, it is a 5 star cart. I have given them to family members as gifts. It is a pretty great gift!
Wow.. where to start, this product is to expensive the material is cheap, and hard to assemble. the racks folded and it looks like they where made like that, this product should cost like 15 dollars nothing more. It literally gave me a headache the racks kept falling the plastic to hold them is useless.
