I was impressed by this hyper tough ratchet. It feels sturdy in my hand and has a nice Weight to it without being to heavy. The grip is comfortable and doesn't slip. Clicks cleanly when switching directions. Also very easy to store with other tools.

The Hyper Tough 3/8 inch drive pear head ratchet worked really well. The handle has a nice balanced weight. For those who have never removed packaging from one of these tools, just press the button on the back of the tool and it slides out of the package.

Hyper tough living up to its standards of being tough! It is strong and durable. Average sized so it doesn't take up much space whether your working with a toolbox/toolbench or even putting it in your toolbelt for on the go stuff! It does what it's meant to do, put the socket size you need on and ratchet away. These are awesome so you don't have to do a whirly dirly and keep swinging it all around.

Pretty solid ratchet tool. I've used this for about 1 week and the durability seems to be very good. It's very heavy for what it is which symbolizes how durable it is

The 90 tooth gear pawl has an appropriate amount of backlash and feels good in the hand on the power stroke. Tooth engagement feels to be of quality, and beefy handle makes a good grip for larger hands. Direction selector has an L and R etching for quick discernment on direction. If you are sensitive to overall tool weight, like if you are carrying a kit in and out, some speed holes may take some unnecessary weight out of the wrench. No plastic makes cleanup after a greasy job very quick and simple. Looking forward to years of use and abuse.

If you want an affordable everyday ratchet for car work or home repair, the Hyper Tough 3/8 inch pear head ratchet is surprisingly cheaper for price. The main thing to look at are comfortable handle to hold, durability, and quick release button and low profile head for tight spaces. Very strong material easy to use because of the way it is made.
