Great socket rail for the price. Comes in all three sizes. Interchangeable and customizable.
I purchased one of each from this set (there's a red, blue, and orange rail with 3 different sizes). My sockets have just become jumbled in my workbench, making it difficult to find what I want. I used these to organize them all and they have worked great! I love that they offer multiple sizes for these rails, so I can organize all my current sockets and keep a unified look in my garage. Great buy for existing tool-owners.
I felt these were sturdy. each of mine had 12 clips. i bought 6 of them. they have end caps so you can add and remove clips as needed. If you are looking for locking clips these are not them and the will be quite a bit more. Are much better than the old metal rails. . I will be buying more .
the best of the best king of all best for socket organizer, its nice, simple, versatile, durable thumbs up for the inventor!!!! produce more, im gonna help you'all expanding the business of thiz socket organizer!!
Cool design, hard to find right now.
This is worth getting and a good price too. I am not a fan of the plastic cases most socket sets come with because they fall out too easily. I rather use socket rails and place them inside my toolbox. These worked great for my needs. The sockets stays attached well and the sockets slides on and off easily, which is also great for those that got arthritis in their hands. It seems to be well made and has no sharp edges. The ends pop off using needle nose pliers so you can add/remove more clips from another hyper tough rail.
These are excellent socket holders and the ends can be pushed off to add or remove socket holders, so they can be customized. I buy extra and then build custom sets this way. There is also a channel on the bottom where a magnet can be inserted to create a magnetized base. The proper sized magnet (1/8" D x 3/4" Wx 2" L can also be used to join two rails together to make the rails longer by bridging two rails on the bottom channel. The rails are easily cut with a hacksaw or a reversed miter saw blade to create any custom length. The 3/8" rails will accept on the bottom 1/8" thick x 3/4" width metal/magnet and the 1/2" rails will accept on the bottom 1/8" thick x 1" width metal/magnet. It would be awesome if end caps, additional socket holders, and these magnets/connectors were offered as a standard product offering in a kit. But for the DIYer, it is an easy hack.
well built, sockets snap on and off with little effort, yet are held in place just tight enough to not fall off. only set back (I took a star off for it) is the rail is too long for the amount of "clips", it only has 10 clips, yet has enough room for 15. either make it shorter, or add more clips. no 3/8 socket is going to be that wide..
I accidentally dropped one of the trays and one of the plastic studs snapped off with the socket attached. You need to make extra studs for the rails! On a couple of the rails, there's extra room for more socket studs
I just bought this based on reviews and compared shaking it lightly to 3 other brands of socket holders I have, and the sockets fall off of this super easy with a light shake compared to the other 3. This is going right back to the store. Attention Walmart - you could do much better with the reviews and avoiding returns by stop incentivizing reviews and having a review system like your competitor where you can edit good reviews after you realize a product is actually junk a few days later.
