[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to use finger ratchet that has a high-quality fit and finish. It is very versatile and comfortable as well as a great value. This product is small and easy to transport – it is adorable and completed the task as needed.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little thing is awesome! Super solid construction, the ratcheting works as supposed and this item is small enough to fit in difficult places but sturdy enough to actually get the job done (provided you have the forearm strength). I wish I had this years ago.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hyper tough 3/8-inch drive finger ratchet is a handy tool. It is small and easy to carry for when it's needed. It's very easy to use. It's built to last and it gets the job done without any hassle. The contoured grip design makes it easier to grab and turn. The fact that it's so small makes it great for small tight squeeze areas. It's a great ratchet.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hyper Tough 3/8-inch Drive Finger Ratchet is perfect for using with 3/8" socket. It has a reversible ratchet mechanism that is easy to turn. Perfect for reaching confined or smaller spaces. Easy grip and contoured for comfort. Definitely a great ratchet for any tool box!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] • The manual “finger” or “handle” 3/8‑inch drive ratchet: 72‑tooth gearing, quick‑release socket button, chrome vanadium steel. • The cordless 12V Max model (model 98804): 3/8‑inch drive, includes 1.5 Ah battery + charger, ~400 in‑lb (≈45 Nm) max torque, no‑load speed up to ~210 RPM; includes an LED work‑light and battery life indicator. • There's also an extended‑reach version (longer neck) in the 12V line, similarly rated. Warranty: • Hand ratchet has a 5‑year limited warranty. • Cordless ones generally have a 2‑year limited warranty. Typical price point: much lower than premium brands. Hyper Tough is Walmart's budget line. ⸻ What users like These things tend to get praise in reviews / user comments for: 1. Value for money Doing what many pricier ratchets do, for a fraction of the cost. If you're not using ratchets in a heavy industrial sense every day, they're “good enough” in many cases. 2. Decent In ratchets/tools, precision could refer to several things: 1. Gear tooth count / arc swing — how small a swing you need to move the ratchet (i.e. how fine the ratcheting increments are). More teeth = smaller swing = finer control in tight spots. 2. Consistency of engagement — how reliably the teeth engage without skipping; how much backlash or slop there is in the set‑direction mechanism. 3. Control in power tools — for cordless/electric ratchets: how precise is the trigger / speed control; how predictable and smooth is torque delivery (especially at low speed or when “feeling” small fastener resist 1. Soft / rubber grip handles Some models (especially the extendable pear‑head ratchet) have a “soft grip” handle. That helps reduce hand fatigue, improve grip especially when hands are oily or sweaty, and reduce slippage. 2. Slim or compact head design The pear‑head style has a low‑profile / “pear‑shaped” head. That reduces bulk in tight spaces, helps you get into spots where rounder heads might bump or not fit. Less clearance required.
Good value
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let's start off by saying this came in handy in a situation where my ratchet was really only turning very little. Decided to switch to this attachment and made my life easier. Is it made to brake bolts not really but it will make your life way easier. Grip is a bit small for my hands but my hands are usually extra Large in gloves so take that with a grain of salt. The reason I'm giving this 4 starts is because the packaging which it comes in I believe needs somewhat of a redesign.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product was received in the mail from Korea, slightly warped. It took me a while to receive the package so I hope that I do not get counted against because of that. It does the job on tightening what we need fixed and easy to use. It is definitely sturdy, but not too heavy where I cannot use it myself. The size is compact and very well-made.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently picked up the Hyper Tough 3/8-Inch Drive Finger Ratchet, and it's a surprisingly handy little tool. The compact size makes it perfect for working in tight spaces where a full-size ratchet just won't fit. The reversible ratchet mechanism works smoothly, and the contoured grip gives good control, even when using just your fingertips. It's great for quick jobs where you don't want to pull out a larger wrench set. While it's not designed for heavy-duty torque, it's excellent for precision tightening or loosening bolts in cramped areas. For the price, it feels solid and reliable. I really appreciate how convenient it is to keep in a small tool bag. Overall, a useful addition to any toolkit.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hyper Tough 3/8” Drive Finger Ratchet is a great tool for tight areas, and since the fastener spins you don't have to reposition a wrench. It's a little tough to use if bolts or screws are on too tightly, but that may just be due to my own hand strength and not the tool itself. I definitely recommend purchasing and having multiple sizes would be a great addition to keep in your car!
