This is a good quality compact set for working in tight areas and is small enough to be in the “kitchen” tool drawer for the minor repairs that always occur.
Great little set. This set is perfect for quick jobs especially for those like myself who have large tool sets who don't want to lug all that wait. Highly recommend.
Handiest kit for household basics! This set has the basics for everything you need to do small repairs around the house or out together furniture... It's a wonderful little starter set. The small ratchet is perfect for making quick work of putting together furniture!
Purchased as a Christmas gift for my ex bf. He liked it- esp since I gifted with the intention for it to be his ‘backup/spare' kit, for him to keep in his little pick-up/trash-truck (tht he barely drives-unless he takes off trash 😂).
For such a small set, you get a lot of pieces to use!! Just getting them out of their slots can be really hard!! The two rows of screwdriver tips were the hardest to get out!! I replaced a battery, and all the tools and tips did their job after figuring out how the tips and handles fit together!!
Gave it 4 cause I haven't used it yet ang the case is sturdy but I'd rather have maybe something with a zipper. One little fall and the case is cracked or broken. Now the tools, for what you would use them for, they aren't bad. Go to gether well fell sturdy, seems like the job will get done. Not like I'm building an engine with them and if you are , well you deserve what you get.
Seems like an acceptable quality little ratchet set for the price. Would have to use it more before recommending for daily use, but it's great for little occasional uses.
If you buy this set, just know that you're likely going to be very annoyed with the ratchet wrench because ratchet mechanism is a little loose, so you'll need to finagle it to get the setting you want. The bits can also be challenging to get out of the case. They're in there pretty tight. You'll need a butter knife, or something similar, to pop them out. It's also helpful to keep a bit on the end of the stubby screwdriver to pry it out of the case.
The screw %26 wrench driver set are good but the socket set is wonky, Two separate adapters are need to attach socket and the directional switch is very loose, have to literally hold it down while torquing the socket. Good for occasional use.
The selection of tools and bits is okay for the price, and the case is compact enough to pack in your luggage. It's almost useful, but it really needs some case modifications and just a few more pieces. The plastic case is terrible. It's as if the case was designed to be anti-ergonomic. The screwdriver bits and handle, and socket handle are very difficult to remove without some sort of pry tool. Fix: cut off all the little clips with diagonal cutters. The sockets are not labeled. Fix: write the socket sizes onto the case with a fine-point Sharpie. The selection of sockets is surprisingly missing a 1/2” socket. Workaround: just use the 13mm bit instead, assuming you don't need much precision or torque. The socket sizes are unexpected: most are SAE (3/16”-11/16”, minus 1/2”), and only two metric (10mm and 13mm). The ratchet handle is only 3/8” drive. Three of the thirteen bits are 3/8” drive, so most of the time you'll need to use the 3/8” to 1/4” adapter. Other stubby toolkits include double-sided (1/4” and 3/8”) ratchet handles, which make them so much more convenient. Only two of the sockets are metric, so this tool kit is not so useful with modern cars, bikes, scooters, e-bikes, e-scooters, etc. This kit is almost useful for small engine (eg lawnmower) or old appliance repair, but the 3/8” to 1/4” adapter gets wedged and stuck easily. Suggestion if you intend to work on small engines or appliances: add a 1/4” socket extension, or better yet a 1/4” socket driver that doubles as an extension. If you wanted to keep this tool kit in your car for emergencies or convenience, supplement it with: a set of metric sockets; 1/2” and 3/4” sockets; T25 and T30 bits; and some hex bits.
