This is a really nice tool kit I like to fix up old classic cars. Unfortunately, old classic cars break down a lot more than new cars. For me, having tools with me wherever I go is a necessity. I don't have roadside assistance and prefer to work on my own cars. I know my way around my cars better than any mechanic. This kit comes with just about everything you need. I like the double-sided wrenches; you get twice as many sizes while only taking up half the space. It also comes with a small pair of vise grips which is very handy. I will probably buy a couple more sets for my other cars. It comes with a soft carrying case. There are pros and cons to it. Everything is held in place by elastic straps, and come loose easily, but overall, I prefer the soft case over a hard case any day. Hard plastic cases slide around, the locks break, and just aren't good for storing in your car. The soft case doesn't knock around in your trunk, it stays in place, and it quiet.

This tool set is awesome! It arrived in this compact zippered case - I was astonished when I unzipped it just how many tools there are! It even has a tire gauge and a mini vice grip. The mini vice grip is great for me (the wife) because of my smaller hands but my husband can also use it with no problem. It's like they took a tool box, made the tools smaller and then slipped them inside a canvas holder - makes it so much easier to take with you on the go.

He put in the saddlebag in case he needs a quick repair on the road. Fortunately, he hasn't had a chance to test the quality of the tools, but he said they seem pretty heavyweight. I'm thinking about getting one for our son's bike, since he's always breaking down.

Not sure about all that, but this is a nice selection of standard tools for light repairs at home or on your vehicles. The storage case holds everything securely with elastic straps, and won`t take up much space in your trunk or maybe stored on your motorbike. Some highlights would be a 10-50 PSI tire gauge, curved jaw locking pliers, and two sizes of spark plug sockets. There is also an 8 piece Hex Key set, mounted on a -hopefully hyper-tough- plastic holder with a rubberized grip. This would make a nice starter tool set for a young person to have in their car, or around the house or apartment. The case will keep everything together for when you need it. Everything tested out ok, although my kit had two 8mm sockets, one replacing the missing 7/16th socket. Another concern was the 5 year limited warranty the packaging mentions. I was unable to find anything specific on the Walmart site, which is where you are directed to search. There was information about purchasing what I assume was an extended warranty. Overall this is a decent budget tool set, better for someone starting out rather than adding to an existing collection of tools.

I was attracted to this set because I understood it to be a compact and portable kit. The kit is actually a tad bit bigger than I thought, so it's something to be mindful of if you want this to keep in your motorcycle's storage compartment. When I received the set, I heard and felt and awful lot of clanking, and once I opened it up noticed that a bunch of the pieces slipped out of their places during transit. My suggestions there are 1. Open it on a surface with plenty of space, so nothing falls or rolls out of the kit; 2. If you're gifting this, make sure to open it and rearrange anything that's moved in transit. As for the quality, these feel and work just fine. I wouldn't recommend these for everyday heavy use, but they get the job done. Keeping this kit in my car, in the event of any emergencies!
