Love this timer that I bought for our Christmas lights. I really like that it came with a remote. So far I've only used the remote to turn our lights off and on but I plan on trying out the other features. I expect the timer to work well if I can just remember to turn it on when I turn on the lights. I doubt the sensor will work correctly since I have a porch light and a flood light that will probably interfere with the sensor. Overall I'm very pleased with it and I'm glad that I spent a little more to get this timer instead of some of the cheaper ones.

Great timer and the remote is a game changer! I didn't think a remote was necessary but boy was I wrong! I no longer need to set and reset a timer to deal with time changes, later/earlier sunsets and power failures! The lights go on when I feel like it, and go off when I feel like it too. This timer was easy to install and use, all weather and durable. I would very much recommend this product and make sure you get one with a remote! You won't be disappointed.

This outdoor stake outlet with timer is absolutely fantastic! It was incredibly easy to install—just stake it into the ground, plug it in, and set the timer. The dusk-to-dawn feature works perfectly and turns my outdoor lights on automatically at sunset and off at sunrise without any issues. We bought this 6 outlets remote stake timer to replace the same one that wore out after several years. We use this to regulate our pool filter remotely. Runs all summet long and a reliable way to turn our filter off and on. This timer is well made sturdyHolds up on our 90 degree summer days

Solid construction, no need to open the lid for the buttons since it has a remote. The lid can be opened if needed. The remote works very well and is not line of sight.

I would definitely buy again

It was simple to add the stake. The ground near my house is somewhat soft, due to the rain. Best time to stick it in the ground! I plugged in my lights %26 one turned on, the other didn't. I tried several of the other outlets - same thing, then realized it wasn't staying straight out %26 then slightly leaning the other plug (similar item, same shape, company, etc., just different color of lights). I think some little plastic outlet grippers may help in this situation. I did check the plugs of each item - they look similar %26 other plugs plugged into it, are not having this issue, it's the length of the plug that comes out from the plug itself. Not sure why it has to be so long or so heavy, but other than that little issue, it appears to work fine. Also - it's easier to set the timer with the remote than using the buttons on the unit.

Its difficult to see if its set to 'Timer' 2H, 4H, 6H or 8H or dusk to dawn with the sealed cover. Other than the struggle to see timing, it works well.
