If you've got a 1/2-inch air hose that's sprung a leak or has cracked fittings, this is a solid, no-frills solution. The kit includes everything you need to make a quick repair: two barbed connectors, two clamps, and two hose ends. All the components feel decently built for the price—nothing ultra-premium, but definitely strong enough for light to moderate shop use. The metal barbs fit snugly, and the clamps hold pressure well once tightened down. Installation was pretty straightforward, even without instructions (though basic knowledge of hose repair helps). A standard screwdriver and a utility knife were all I needed. Just cut out the damaged section, insert the barbed fitting, and clamp it down. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This kit is great, it comes with everything to splice, or repair the end of an air hose. The fittings are very sturdy and get a firm grip once they go in the end of the hose. The worm clamps are a little cheesy, and it's easy to strip them out if you overdo it, so be careful when screwing them up. They can back off on their own too, so use some thread lock, or be prepared to have to tighten them often. Other than that, it's a great kit and makes air hose repair a breeze-literally though if you don't lock in those worm clamps.

It is of good construction making the value worth the money. The only issue is it's nots compatible with every hose even so I still highly recommend and will purchase again.
