Hyper Tough 7-1/4 inch 9 amp Miter Saw, 91006

the saw was received in perfect condition. the item was packed extremely well. the item was exactly what i wanted! the saw will be used for light construction for the use of trim installation. i wanted a smaller lightweight portable saw to move to the job site. thank you hyper tough and Walmart!

I purchased this to make small cuts for a small DIY home project. Perfect for my needs. One thing that was incredibly difficult (as someone who has never operated this tool) was figuring out how to unlock it. The manual had an image and instructions but the knob was very difficult to engage. Finally tinkered with it enough to release the lock, but would have loved a removable plastic tag attached at that location with a short %26 sweet “pull here to unlock” or something. Also, not sure what the bag is collecting since MDF dust is still everywhere. No worries though! Price wise- the sale price has been worth it. Much preferred over the effort put into using a mitre box and the cuts are much neater.

The first time using it a piece of metal flew off from inside the saw and almost hit me! Very cheaply made!
