Excellent tool, especially for the price!
Seems to be very good quality. It is put together well, not loose and sloppy like some. Seems on par or better than Craftsman. For the price, no other brand comes close to touching it. I highly recommend.

My dryer's knob broke off and couldnt find a way to fix it without getting it service with these awful financial times. i vought this to try to pull off the tje broken piece and realized i could use this to turn the dryer on until i can replace the knob. definitely a tool youll need and the price didnt break the bank.

Satisfied Hyper Tough Tools Customer
As a owner/operator of a scrap metal recycling business. It's all about using tools constantly. Don't pay for the big company names!! I have been a loyal Hyper Tough customer since Walmart introduced the line. Hyper Tough tools will work and last as well, if not better than any big name tool company I have ever seen.

Good as Vice Grips? I'd say so.
These Pliers be compared to Vice Grips. They have a strong grip once you set them, and they are easy to release the grip when needed. But, they ARE different because they don't have the name "Vice Grips" imprinted on them, nor do they have a price tag like Vice Grips do. Other than that they are basically the same.

I gave 4 stars because it's a little difficult to open after they are clamped on an object, but I have the same complaint about all of these types of pliers.
